The USA is preventing an attack on Iran by Israel because of the imminent US election.

The rhetoric has stopped because of uncertainty of the effect and outcome of such an attack on the US election.

The USA is also telling Netanyahu not to even talk about it before the election.

Israel could not implement such an attack without US military support.
