Fiskars have a good recommendation from me.
Bought some fiskars secateurs some years ago, very good. Makita grade ergonomics, Japanese grade steel.
Bought my wife her set too, she loves hers. Her secateurs do not feel right in my hand.

Bought some Fiskars sharp pointed needle scissors the other day - really nice.
Beautiful feather weight on them, yet the finger grip is very good for my mans hands. Not cramped for space.

Both tools have good steel, great ergonomics, are well designed and well made.

You need to be careful of the cheaper products such as the Bunnings CraftRight brand -
they are owned by Bunnings but I believe they are all made in China.

The one I got over 5 years ago was the same I think
and it was great for small tacks but the claw snapped off when I tried to pull out a large nail.
It looks like that instead of forged steel it is made of cast iron.
