That's not what I said but I would agree that it's more than probable.

Fair enough.

latest - nothing from Albo?

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-10-18/australian-airbase-used-in-us-strike-on-h...

Editor's note 18/10/2024: The previous version of this story said "A remote Northern Territory air base has been used as a staging post for this week's major US air strike on underground Houthi weapons stores in Yemen." On Friday, the ABC approached the Defence Department asking if US aircraft involved in the strikes took off from RAAF Tindal in the Northern Territory. Defence did not confirm or deny the question and said Australia provided support "through access and overflight." The story has been updated to include a statement from a Defence spokesperson who clarified B2s were not operating out of RAAF Base Tindal. Defence declined to comment on all other questions citing operational security.

Perhaps a refueler based at Tindal, Fly over, refuel, next fuel stop Diego Garcia.

Quite likely - Diego Garcia is much closer to Yemen.

Its difficult with all these conflicts especially in the middle east, I am no longer so sure that we are on the right side. I tend to seldom believe what the government say, not to say I believe the other side either.

Our governments seem to play favourites and the facts don't seem to matter very much.

It could have consequences -

could the Houthis now target Australian ships heading for or leaving the Suez canal?

Do we have any commercial ships?

Your links mention air to air refuelling these bombers didn't land here.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

I'm sure we have cargo ships that use the Suez canal.

Maybe they were refueled in the air?    Undecided

Using Tindal is odd as refuelling could be done in the Mediterranean.  But Tindal confirms that the US can reach Iran without crossing the Middle East and its defences. It's playing a mind game.

It probably came from Guam, refuelled over Au and Diego Garcia, same on the way back.

Bibi needs to go before a Nuremberg 2 trial for crimes against humanity.

Let the court decide and have the gallows waiting outside.

Houthis have targeted Australian, among others, ships heading for or leaving the Suez canal for months now that's why they were bombed now.

In any case according to DFAT Australia's top five trading partners are China, Japan, the United States, the Republic of Korea and India, which is Asia Pacific.

What a journey! Missouri to Guam 12,000km, to Oz 3000, to Diego Garcia 6000, to Yemen 4000= 25,000 at 1010km/hour for B2. That's 25 hours for B2 with two pilots, one way.  Join the air force and travel the world..

Wouldn't it be easier to locate the B2 bombers in Israel?

Yemen would then be only 1,800 km away.
