Ancient good luck symbol - used by the Finns long before the Nazis got hold of it... North American Indians .. Indians... Sumerians.. countless others used it - the Nazis stole it.... Raiders of the Crooked Cross......
It's not an evil sign in itself - it's the recent memory .... and what a loss to culture ....
Here is a Finnish aircraft - guess what type it is:-

It still means what it did before the Nazis came to power.
Millions of people use it particularly in India where it is a familiar symbol on shops, taxis and people’s front doors.
To ban it is to give in to a wrong that panders to Naziism.
I never said I was in favour of banning it.
And even if that was my stance, we're not talking about banning it in India.
I spoke about this over far too many beers with a German friend of mine a while back. His stance was, most of that iconography is banned back home, from the swastika to nazi slogans. They recently (actually this was before Covid, so not that recently...) lifted the bad on video games that included that content, like Battlefield or any of those era themed games which he was at least pleased about.
But he knows their history, it's properly taught at school, and while he sympathised for those who use it innocently and not as a symbol the Nazis, given the insidious nature of the Nazi cause and what it's morphed into today, he saw their rights to display it as less important than stopping the white supremacists from using it.
I'll admit to being swayed by his views on the matter, despite being more of a free-speech absolutist myself.
My time on these forums has also impacted my thoughts on this.
I've seen how the likes of Crappler will disparage an entire race of people, calling for them to be imprisoned and hunted for sport, wishing they were wiped out by the British during colonisation or advocating for their genocide being easier than dealing with them today, so to see him come out and start defending the use of it, even with legitimate historical references, it leaves a disgusting taste in my mouth knowing the vild piece of poo he is, coming out defending the use of the swastika.
It's hard to separate those two things. This looks more like a wolf in sheep's clothing continuing to push his agenda of hate.
He's posted images of the swastika multiple times to try to accuse those who supported The Voice as being in support of the Nazi ideals, so he knows what it means which only furthers the idea that he's being disingenuous as always.
Hence my question to him:
