Sounds real funny - on the run, stolen car, stolen cash .. being tracked by the cab's owner... all the great settings for comedy.

This should be hilarious.

Let's solve the young aboriginal incarceration rate - let's make it comedy to steal cars and take it on the lam etc...

Meanwhile the NT government new is installing the Midnight Express - the 3 AM knock on the door ... the Night and Fog ... 'Re-Settlement' in the Distantland..... the 'Re-education Camps' so you can get your mind right...... you know the drift...

On another note I warned you wide-open freestylers that this would happen unless parents and Elders actually did something.....

Now we have a silly movie glorifying the gangstah lifestyle... and deathstyle... and death in life style ....

'rising body count' .... 'plight of their people living on a mission'   .... real comedy......  who forces anyone to live on a mission?

Maybe they could make a comedy about the 2019 fires - Weekends of Burnies....

About as razor sharp as a Nazi propaganda film - cardboard cutout 'villains' - amoral whorehouse madam with heaps of loose cash and plenty of loose guns and cannons to hire ..... evil bloke who hides his peccadilloes (not peccaries - a peccadillo is a South American Armoured Peccary) behind his Christian belief (**rolls eyes**) - Keystone Kops - heroic girl on the run from Juvie... group escaping the evils of any Captain Cook education that might help them to a good future outside the prisons .... cunning and smart Aboriginal youth handling Keystone Cops.... cut to the ending which has all the hallmarks of a Greek Tragedy or a Prince of Egypt finale with bodies all around....

This has all the hallmarks of the classic. Trouble is the comedy is in the reality that it was written at all - not in the scripting.  Who wrote this trite crap?

I know Hollywood hasn't been very kind to Noah Taylor, but he should have refused this absurd role, and Miranda Otto - Barry would die of shame. This nonsense is nearly as bad as the propaganda film that started with some White guy sweating on a horse and lost due to 1888 compass failure or something, and some cool as a cucumber clean-as never-break-into-a-sweat Aboriginal bloke on bare foot and in company with his adored full partner wife who equally never breaks a sweat etc, telling the White guy he'll show him the way and nodding to his beloved that he'll be back soon, just find your way to the next waterhole.... all while wandering about in the hot sun at midday ...... just like everyone does out there, eh?

One day this kind of rubbish will be in the archives of propaganda films.  At least Wind River hit on real issues for American Indians.

Guess I'll just have to write Dingo Creek.... might re-name it Dingo Hill or something - 'Wolf Creek' in a nation without wolves doesn't hunt.... and we don't want comparisons.
