GG dismissal was about blocking money supply. Albo has no blockage, the good times roll for him and Qantas upgrade is not even at Robodebt level of rot.

Might not be about blocking supply, but this is looking like a clear case of corruption by Airbus Albo as Transport Minister at the time and possibly also as Prime Minster if he influenced the current Transport Minister to block Qatar Airways as a favour to his good buddy Alan Joyce! If this is what has happened, he needs to resign forthwith and call an election!

Okay, I’ll spell it out for you since you clearly can’t see past the end of your nose. Airbus Albo appears to have been given and also asked Joyce personally for upgrades prior to him becoming Minister for Transport, while he was Minister and in addition to that, as Prime Minister he appears to possibly have done a favour for his good mate Alan Joyce by influencing his own Minister for Transport to block Qatar Airways (a Qantas rival) from accessing extra slots for flights into Australia, thus reducing competition that would almost certainly have lead to reduced airfares for Australians but also would’ve hurt Qantas’ profits. If you really can’t see what Airbus Albo has done wrong, there is no hope for you.

“ Albanese’s office did not elaborate on whether the statement included emails or texts.”

“ smh

It’s like trying pull teeth out of a dragon!

Next we will be told - “I never had sex with the Qantas CEO”.

Stop mucking the Australian people around- refer yourself to your secret federal corruption body and be done.

Unless you have something to hide?

Anthony Albanese has broken his silence on the Qantas upgrade mess revealing an audit of his travel has confirmed he never directly called Qantas CEO Alan Joyce about upgrades for personal travel.

But crucially, the Prime Minister is not denying - as revealed by news.com.au - that he or his staff may have called Qantas’ government relations contacts or the Chairman’s Lounge “hotline” to book the flights with upgrades then offered by Qantas.

Instead, the Prime Minister is unequivocally denying for the first time that he ever personally liaised with Mr Joyce directly on the subject of upgrades for family holidays.

“The Prime Minister did not ever call Alan Joyce seeking an upgrade,’’ a spokesperson told news.com.au.

“All travel has been appropriately declared and is a matter of public record.”

What the statement also does not say is whether he personally contacted someone at Qantas via e-mail or text message, or whether one of his staff acted as an intermediary on his behalf in requesting upgrades. He's trying to be clever, and failing.

Integrity ........................................................  what was that - give it to me slowly again ............................

i n t e g r i t y
............ demands that Albo put himself to the scrutiny, win or lose, and that he accept the verdict... and that as of now he should instruct ALL party members and staff that the deal is off - on hold.

I'm not going to hang him alongside Joyce - Joyce can swing in the breeze all on his own for all I care - there must be a class action by injured employees and travelers that can chase his little arse around the world....

Such concocted outrage from the rabid right  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I'm betting that as is typical of what happens when the retarded right starts waving their skirts around in hysterics, this will come back and bite the libs in the arse as evidence comes out of libtards doing the same .

I'm betting  armchair will go very quite if that happens.

OK so if they're all crooks why doesn't the Governor General sack them?

Because they can’t. The Governor-General can only act on the advice of the government.

That's not true -  Kerr sacked Whitlam.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Wasn't it the Opposition that asked the G-G to step in and ultimately led to Whitlam being dismissed? Was before my time.

Yeah - Fraser said he had the numbers to pass a budget.

Why does any business give away freebies to politicians?

Is it a bribe?

Has anyone asked them that?
