Optus faces chargers

“In short:
The ACCC has taken legal action against Optus claiming it sold products to hundreds of vulnerable consumers.
The consumer watchdog said many customers were living with disability, diminished cognitive capacity or learning difficulties.
What's next?
The ACCC says it will seek redress for the customers and further costs against the company. Optus says it is reviewing the claims.”

“ ABC

Old corrupt Glady has really put her stamp on Optus since joining the criminals , oops, company!

Thomas A. Edison said as early as in 1931, “I’d put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that.”

How could Optus shares dive? It is wholly owned by Singtel.

Quote:
It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Singaporean telecommunications company Singtel. Optus is the second-largest telecommunications company in Australia, with over 11 million customers as of 2023.

“Forget the ‘Yes’ slogan, Optus. It’s a big ‘No’ from the ACCC
The telco has joined the ignominious list of companies doing the wrong thing in their treatment of Indigenous Australians.”
“SMH
