Ted Cruz defeats Colin Allred to win 3rd U.S. Senate term in Texas

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz defeated Democratic U.S. Rep. Colin Allred Tuesday night in what was one of the nation's most closely watched and expensive senate races.

Quote:
Cruz, who will now serve his third term in the U.S. Senate, received 53.5 percent of the vote, according to NBC News, which projected Cruz as the winner. Allred pulled in 44.5 percent, according to NBC's unofficial election night results. The winner of this race could help determine which party will control the U.S. Senate and shape the next few years of Texas politics.

Trump can only serve this term and someone else will than need to defend the Nation from the Left. May that man be Ted Cruz. The number one target in this election cycle was Ted Cruz, his enemies pumped over 100 million dollars into the campaign of Colin Allred. A man who should have run proudly on his record rather then sounding like he was the real Ted Cruz.

The only difference between a Communist and a Democrat is the spelling.

The early count was promising, but at only 18% counted it was only a mirage.

Sadly, he was returned to power.

Let's hope the next natural disaster spurred on by the inaction he pushes to reducing emissions etc, that hits Texas, that he's in the state and doesn't scurry off to Cancun again.
