UN Special Committee finds Israel’s warfare methods in Gaza consistent with genocide, including use of starvation as weapon of war

NEW YORK (14 November 2024) – Israel’s warfare in Gaza is consistent with the characteristics of genocide, with mass civilian casualties and life-threatening conditions intentionally imposed on Palestinians there, the UN Special Committee to investigate Israeli practices said in a new report released today.

“Since the beginning of the war, Israeli officials have publicly supported policies that strip Palestinians of the very necessities required to sustain life — food, water, and fuel,” the Committee said. “These statements along with the systematic and unlawful interference of humanitarian aid make clear Israel’s intent to instrumentalise life-saving supplies for political and military gains.”

Covering the period from October 2023 to July 2024, the report examines developments across the occupied Palestinian territory and the occupied Syrian Golan but focuses on the catastrophic impact of the current war in Gaza on the rights of Palestinians.

“Through its siege over Gaza, obstruction of humanitarian aid, alongside targeted attacks and killing of civilians and aid workers, despite repeated UN appeals, binding orders from the International Court of Justice and resolutions of the Security Council, Israel is intentionally causing death, starvation and serious injury, using starvation as a method of war and inflicting collective punishment on the Palestinian population,” the Committee said.

What utter rubbish. There is no Israeli genocide against Gazans - they have caught themselves in a war zone and are suffering the results of doing that. They cheered and danced when Israeli people were murdered, and girls and women raped and beaten to death or butchered... millions of them have availed themselves of the opportunity provided by Israel to evacuate - despite threats and even murders of some seeking to do so, by Hamas itself.

The UN has turned itself into a gutter filled with the whining of every Judeophobe in this world and is licking the nuts of terrorists and mass murderers instead of holding itself high as a fount of human decency, justice and fairness. It has become the lowest of its members ... proof that introducing faecal water into pure water results in every part of that water being polluted.

Time some of these 'members' were sent packing, and time for a full review of what exactly the UN has become.

Then there is the craven approach of AlboCorp and the Wong Way of sucking the nuts of the vilest invaders and mass terrorist murderers in recent history, while criticising the legitimate attempts of a small nation to defend its own people from genocide, and all while lying through their teeth about their idea of a 'Two State Solution' - something Israel has promoted and pursued for years now - with the 'official' line of the UN requiring that Israel essentially capitulate to those who started and continue this war, and cease de-militarisation of the areas that have violated its territory and its people for years.

All that without offering cast iron guarantees of a peaceful and UN controlled de-militarised Gaza and Lebanon Strip held by Hezbollah.

If the Old Girl and I pack up this house and she goes into a care place - I'm off to Israel - me and my li'l friends Mr Springfield and Mr Modernscope. Some hate the M-14 - used properly it is a beaut. Think of a 7.62 NATO round, range out to 2000 yards plus, and a scope equal to or better than the scope sight on the M-4.

A recent survey conducted in Palestine concluded that the prevalence of overweight and obesity is 23.6 and 19.5% in the Gaza Strip and 26.1% in the West Bank.

Gazans decided to be led and governed by a proscribed international terrorist organisation, Hamas. They chose them freely and stuck with them for almost 20 years. That is like electing ISIS.

Hamas has carried out COUNTLESS suicide and rocket attacks against Israel. They have assassinated countless PALESTINIAN political rivals.

Even if that were so, in no way does it negate or compensate for the continued violation of their basic human right to self-determination.
