In related news, the Congress Ethics Committee, which is split along party lines, has voted not to release its report into the investigation of allegations made against him. All that was needed was for just one Republican to, you know, act in an ethical way, for the report to be made public but instead the Republican members chose to protect him instead. I hope the report gets leaked anyway. Must be incredibly damaging to Gaetz if the Republicans are protecting him, given what we already know publicly about his puerile behaviour.

There must be some real damning evidence in that report.

Trump's a rapist himself, and even he thinks what's in the report is bad.

Can't wait to read it when it's leaked.

But seriously, I get real creepy serial rapist/killer vibes from Gaetz.

He out creeps them all.

Matt Gaetz stunned Washington four years ago when the then-bachelor Florida congressman suddenly revealed he was living with a Cuban immigrant teenager named Nestor whom he called his 'son'.

He never formally adopted the boy that he took in as a 12-year-old when he arrived in the U.S. in 2014 after the death of his mother, but said their relationship was defined 'by love, not paperwork.'

But now questions have been raised anew about Nestor Galban, 23, an Air Force 1st Class Airman now based at Ramstein Air Force base in Germany after allegations emerged that Gaetz used his unofficial son's PayPal account to pay women for 'sexual favors.'

Two women interviewed by the House Ethics Committee about Gaetz testified that he paid them directly and repeatedly via Venmo transactions 'for sex,' their attorney said.

In reversal, key House panel votes to release Matt Gaetz ethics report

The House Ethics Committee secretly voted earlier this month to release its report into the conduct of former Rep. Matt Gaetz before the end of this Congress, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the matter.

The report is now expected to be made public after the House’s final day of votes this year as lawmakers leave Washington for the holidays, those sources said.

The vote, which has not previously been reported, amounts to a stark reversal for the panel after it had voted along party lines in late November not to release the results of the investigation. The decision to release the report suggests that some Republicans ultimately decided to side with Democrats on the matter, and it is unclear if the committee will once again change course now that it has voted.

Oh dear, Greggery. We'll have to wait and see what happens, no?

But I'm curious. How's the big fella going to look on Day 1, pardoning America's most notorious paedophile? He was supposed to start the Storm, remember?

Look, if I was Matt, I'd take one for the team and seek political asylum in Russia. The Winters might be hard, but I do feel it would be the honourable thing to do.

You?

It's technically a minor problem.

I'm sure Matt will do what's best for the country.

AIMLESS EXTENTION OF KNOWLEDGE HOWEVER, WHICH IS WHAT I THINK YOU REALLY MEAN BY THE TERM 'CURIOSITY', IS MERELY INEFFICIENCY. I AM DESIGNED TO AVOID INEFFICIENCY.
