I think that Rogan will live to regret interviewing and endorsing Trump.

He will now be a captive of Trump's persona - Trump's bitch, like Musk.

The day he criticises Trump. or refuses Trump another interview when Trump decides Rogan would be useful to him again, Rogan will learn how it feels to be flayed alive by a personality in full-blown narcissistic rage.

He won the popular vote, the House, the Senate, the presidency.

Trump commands the bro vote - Rogan's territory - It was Dana White (a Trump bro for life) who talked Rogan into interviewing Trump. Musk, who Rogan fawns over almost on all fours, asked for and got an interview with him, during most of which Musk raved about his father-figure Trump.

It's interesting you say that, which I've highlighted. Yes, he swept the electoral college. However, when you look at individual votes, Trump only won by about 2 million votes, which is a difference between him and Harris of only 1.6% overall. So his win isn't really that big in terms of the popular vote, making it actually a very close election, and again the win comes down to the electoral college.

Sure, he won.  But it's not the “unprecedented and powerful mandate to govern” that he thinks it is.

The data suggests it was a much closer contest than he and his allies are suggesting.

In 2024, Trump’s win of both the popular vote and the presidency can be seen as an improvement on his last victory eight years ago.

But Trump cannot say that he won the outright majority of the presidential votes that were cast in the election overall.

To do so, he would need to have won more than 50%, as all victors have done for the last 20 years - other than Trump in 2016.
