Greggy,
Why? Why would a nice guy like you want to kill a genius?
He reads poetry out loud, all right?

And a narcissist and not really sane.

First minor crisis and he will fall apart, like covid in his first term. Drink bleach and shine a light up your arse? Nuts!

There's something happening out here, man....
I know something that you don't know.
That's right, Monk. The man is clear in his mind, but his soul is mad.
Oh, yeah. He's dying, I think. He hates all of this.
He hates it, but the man's, uh. He reads poetry outloud, all right?...
He likes you 'cause you're still alive.
He's got plans for you. No, no, I'm not gonna help you.
You're gonna help him, man...
I mean, what are they gonna say, man, when he's gone, huh?
'Cause he dies when it dies, man. When it dies, he dies.
What are they gonna say about him?
What are they gonna say?
He was a kind man? He was a wise man? He had plans? He had wisdom?
Bullshit, man! Am I gonna be the one that's gonna set them straight?
Look at me. Wrong! - you.

Damn, just think of all the revenue the medical and funeral industry will lose if President Trump is successful in stopping the importation of deadly drugs. Not only that but when someone dies many of their assets are liquidated and the money spent boosts the economy. Why would anyone but a Patriot want to stop that?

He will fall apart at the first crisis no matter how minor. He cannot accept responsibility because he is a narcissist.

Already we see he has not ended the Ukraine war despite his boasts he would do it in a day even before being inaugurated. Narcissism!

Hey, Monk,
you don't talk to the Colonel. You listen to him. The man's enlarged my mind. He's a poet-warrior in the classic sense. I mean, sometimes he'll, uh, well, you'll say hello to him, right? And he'll just walk right by you, and he won't even notice you. And suddenly he'll grab you, and he'll throw you in a corner, and he'll say "Do you know that 'if' is the middle word in life? 'If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, if you can trust yourself when all men doubt you'" I mean, I'm no — I can't — I'm a little man. I'm a little man. He's, he's a great man. I should have been a pair of ragged claws scuttling across floors of silent seas.

If you haven't noticed biden and the war mongers are sending billions more since the election to keep the war machine going. Lots of profits are going to be lost if Trump stops the killing.

US President-elect Donald Trump’s dramatic late night announcement that he plans to impose hefty tariffs on the country’s two closest neighbours could dramatically backfire, harming Americans.

In a post to his social media platform Truth Social on Monday, US time, the 78-year-old said he would impose a 25 per cent tariff on products from Mexico and Canada, both US allies, and an additional 10 per cent tariff on products from China.

The reaction has been swift. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a hurried late night call to Mr Trump after fears the tariff move could spark a recession in his country. Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum has played tough suggesting her country may do tit-for-tat tariffs. While a Canadian premier said the tariff plan would be “devastating”.

Mr Trump said the tariffs had come about because the countries weren’t doing enough to stop the drug fentanyl entering the US. He additionally criticised Mexico and Canada for the number of immigrants crossing the border.

“Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to easily solve this long simmering problem,” said Mr Trump.

“We hereby demand that they use this power, and until such time that they do, it is time for them to pay a very big price!”

The number of people crossing from Canada into the US illegally has always been far lower than those coming from Mexico.

But the numbers are now soaring. In the last 12 months almost 200,000 people have been picked up by US border patrol crossing the Canadian border. Two years ago that figure was 110,000. Although that’s still not even 10 per cent of the crossings from Mexico into the US.

Partly, the rise in Canadian crossings has been driven by a crackdown on the southern border – put in place this year by US President Joe Biden – which has seen illegal crossings plummet. Some of those people, many from Mexico itself, have headed to Canada instead where the border is more lightly patrolled.

Mr Trudeau said he phoned Mr Trump on Monday night.

“We talked about some of the challenges that we can work on together. It was a good call.

“This is a relationship that we know takes a certain amount of working on, and that’s what we’ll do,” he said.

Mr Trudeau indicated that Canada was willing to more aggressively tackle border issues.

Doug Ford, the premier of Canada’s largest province Ontario, was blunt. He said on social media that a 25 per cent tariff would be “devastating to workers and jobs in both Canada and the US,” and urging Mr Trudeau to “take the situation at our border seriously”.

Mexican’s newly installed President Claudia Sheinbaum revealed a letter she was sending to Mr Trump warning him that inflation would rise, jobs would fall and tariffs work both ways.

She reminded Mr Trump that the number of migrants moving illegally across the border has reduced. From almost 2.5 million in 2023 it’s now down to around two million. Which is likely still two million too much for Mr Trump.

Scott Bessent, the billionaire who Mr Trump named as his Treasury secretary last week, described tariffs as a “useful tool for achieving the president’s foreign policy objectives”. Wink

This is why he was elected.

He doesn't talk, think, act like Barrack, Hillary, Joe, Kackela.

He isn't in power yet and the threat of tariffs has Canada and Mexico suddenly considering toughening up their borders to stop illegal immigrants entering USA.

Last time he was in power countries refused to take their illegal immigrants back so he threatened to stop financial aid to those countries and they suddenly backflipped and took them back.
When Obama was in power they parked trucks on the runway so planes couldn't land they didn't do that with Trump they took them back.

Canadians might then ask WTF are we doing with our illegal immigrant problem why did it take Trump to threaten tariffs before their spineless politicians did something.

Mexico will probably get tariffs on US owned cars that are made in Mexico to exploit the cheap labor to encourage US car makers to move building cars back to the US.

Last time Trump was in power the US was the largest oil producer OPEC dropped oil price to eliminate competition from shale oil.

When you elect people with business experience who aren't career politicians it changes for the better.

I would bet on Mexico and Canada stopping the flow of illegal immigrants into the US to avoid tariffs.

The ponce from Canada and the Mexicans have already indicated they will do this.

Strange. The prez of Mexico just said he'll do no such thing.

As if governments control the flow of illegal fentanyl. The Mexican government already cooperates on human trafficking.

Why would your DL overturn his supposedly own trade agreement?

Because he won't, silly Billy.

Companies are already looking to do trade in Europe and elsewhere. Mexico's looking towards China, who's already dealing increasingly with Asia, Africa and the developing world.

The game's already on but that's where destabilizing US trade gets you. Companies have to plan beyond one four year term, and they've got no time to fuck around.

Your DL will get in, talk tough, and do nothing, same as it ever was.

Sure I'll bet. Money down, dear. The loser leaves the board for good.
