You’ve stated that
What should old people use against younger fitter stronger home invaders who may have trained in MMA?

Something like this would be effective little to no recoil be fairly quiet wouldn't need hearing protection.
The Aimpoint sight means he could acquire targets with speed and confidence.

Until the younger, fitter, stronger home invader throws an object at the armed resident and gives the elderly person a moment of confusing lasting long enough that the intruder can disarm the elderly person.

Then the intruder can go about robbing the elderly person without fear of being attacked any further. Perhaps the intruder uses the firearm in a hold up somewhere else.

Actual case, Strathfield, NSW. 1950s.
Old man at home alone as everyone else has gone to his wife’s funeral.
He was sick and unable to go.
Pair of crims who targeted houses where there was an announced funeral broke in and were confronted by the old bloke armed with the M96 Mauser pistol he’d taken off a German officer in WW I;
“You wouldn’t be game to use that, you stupid old bastard.”
BANG.
Robber falls screaming with a shattered femur, old bloke points the pistol at the other one, a teenager, and orders him to pick up the phone and ring the police or get shot.
Boy did as he was told and there was a happy ending all round for the good guys.

I’m 90+ and am confident that I can still defend myself and I don’t need a gun.

Do you have a link to your bullshit story....Sounds like a load of crap as usual???

Huh Huh Huh

I do have a link, the young Constable who took the call [at present he is in Armidale Hospital with some old age related problem] but I’ll see if I can’t find a link in the papers of the time.
Bye the way, the old chap was using the ammo he got with it in 1917 or so.

Kindly point out where anything that I’ve posted is crap?

You can’t?

Says something about you, does it not?

Post the link then....I call you out for your bullshit because you continue to bullshit....I know you will never support your crap mate....Says something about you, does it not???

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I tried Trove but it only came up with advertising.
You say that I’ve only posted you, please give a link that proves it.

So - as usual - the fanatic PhilPerth figures that any moves to honour self-defence and home defence and defence of family etc will work most against Aboriginals?

How did you come to that one, Phil?  I'm curious........

What murder?
Looks like you don’t comprehend the written word to well.
How about some proof of your assertions?

I do note that your written English is improving as the correspondence goes on.
Keep up the good work.
