Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

What's good about it?  What's the big deal?  Get 'im in the ground and move on - it's 2024 and there's a lot of ground to make up.

Why can't the author provide a reason why or an insight as to why he posted the link?

Because he just wants to post shyte for clickbait so he can call anyone posting anything contrary a "racist".

You ... you lame arsed marsupial?

Imagine having a relative die in the year 1900, and their remains getting moved overseas for anthropological studies. But the issue here is that the relatives of the deceased are asking taxpayers to fund the return of remains from overseas so that the bodies could be reburied in some burial site.

I do not particularly have a problem with having the remains of loved ones returned to their home country. What I do feel concerned about is the idea that a grandchild feels the need to see the remains of someone that they probably have never met be returned to the country. It is all symbolic.

There are 779 Australian soldiers buried in France at the Villers-Bretonneux cemetery. Should we start digging up their graves to be transferred back to Australia, so that some relatives can have their emotional symbolism and guilt tripping the public into giving them what they want?
