Got a visit from them last Sunday.

Very polite, not pushy, we talked about my garden, Socks (I came back from a walk so Socks was with me) and even homebrew.

I wasn’t sure—not in black suits, one held something that seemed to have a leather cover but might have been an iPad rather than a paper bible.

The religious bit was over quickly—I told them I was pretty much a confirmed atheist.

One interesting bit: the guy that seemed to be in charge asked if that was due to the revelations of what happened in the main churches. I said no, formed my opinion re religion long before that.


That a new tactic of the Mormons, other fringe churches? I wonder.

They were friendly, interested. My back lawn around the hills Hoist is plagued by tree seedlings coming up—guess material got scattered cutting down some old fruit trees. One of the two recognised them as plum trees so I learned something. One of the plums you might remember was sloe.
