The word is he was put back in his box when he got too lippy about future Trump Administration actions. Either that or DOGE isn't big enough for two gargantuan egos, so Ramaswamy may not have got out of DOGE as much as moved to a back suburb. Probably both.

You just need to tell the MAGA crowd that. They believe he'll lower their taxes and fund cuts through tariffs.

But we've seen his tax plan, we've seen his tariff plan. It's only the top two brackets that will see any tax refile, everyone else will be paying more and that's before the addition of the tariffs they'll have to pay as consumers.

So yes, the voters elected Trump to enact his platform, they just believe what he said it would do, not what it appears it will do based on the little policy information actually got released during the campaign.

We're back to the problem of Trump telling different audiences different versions of exactly the same topic.
