he's still alive but he was a quite sick for many days when he got Covid.

Wow - lucky I was healthy enough, to be confident, to choose,
to not take any 'COVID' 'medication', ....'back then'.

Because i knew at the time, that i was in good health,
and i was confident that my own INNATE immune response would likely give me safe, and TOTAL immunity,
against any variation of a corona ['flu'] virus.
[as had been my experience previously **.......i never get symptoms of 'colds' or 'influenza', beyond a nose sniffle for a day or two.]

p.s.
Back in 2020 thru 2023, i very well, may have been exposed to the 'COVID' virus,
but i did not suffer any noticeable symptoms of being so.

In the decades previous to the appearance of the 'COVID' virus,
i had always chosen to not 'get' the yearly 'flu' vaccine or booster.
I have never received one.

i.e. I had no 'experience' in receiving a yearly 'flu' vaccine or booster,
and yet, i DID have 'the experience',
.....of never suffering any 'symptoms of 'colds' or 'influenza', beyond a nose sniffle for a day or two.'

At its 'appearance', the 'COVID' virus, had been 'identified' as a variation of a corona virus [a flu virus].
And i felt confident that my own INNATE immunity, would continue to protect me from a new variation of a corona virus [a flu virus].
