Not sure if the yawning posts say more about the poster than those who (over)react to them.
we are always in the situation of reacting to our environment
but we get to choose the reaction
in the case of incessant yawning, the correct reaction is
"brian is probably depressed and doesnt have much going on in his life, for this we feel compassion for him as a human being and also recognise that we must avoid the path he has gone down to end up in that state.'
i firmly believe that , by the law of entropy, failure is the normal state and living a life of pure garbage is the default
if you dont pay close attention to your own behaviours (all you can control) then you will end up a failure , stuck in the hypnosis.
the buddha had some thoughts on this...
he would practice sitting and allowing misquitoes to land and bite him whilst maintaining a state of mental equilibrium
brian is a mosquito, a pest and a source of mild discomfort but he serves a purpose.
he allows us to exercise our RAS, our selective focus and look past the discomfort and keep our focus on the bigger prize
