The UK sent one battleship, one battlecruiser and four destroyers to intercept the Japanese invasion fleet in the South China Sea north of Malaya. The task force sailed without air support. (they failed to make any defences for Singapore).

The Japanese believed in their superiority to all others because their Bushido (or rather their version of it) beliefs told them they were.  The Germans believed they were superior because they were supposedly Aryans (which they weren't).  In reality they were stupid in their neo-Feudal beliefs of their superiority.  Both the Germans and the Japanese were failures because they placed too great an emphasis on martial ability and spirit.  The Allies placed an emphasis on scientific ability.  The Allies won.  Soren, feels his supposed "Race" is superior to all others and ignores scientific reality that he's basically the same as everybody else.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...

And Army can’t march on an empty stomach - Supply lines started to fail and the Japanese were forced to start eating Soldiers and Civilians who had been killed ..
