What an awful lot of money siphoned out of Australians and into PNG to create another culture of redneck thugs.
I don't think a NRedneckL team is a good offering to make PNG a better country as well.

ALP is happy to send resources to China to build its Empire and threat to Australia. Then turn around to use China as the excuse.

NRL is not a well educated code compared to Rugby Union.
So it's pretty obvious that Albanese is not as smart as he thinks he is.
ALP wants Papuans to remain 'working class' plebs like John Smith.
I would prefer to have my fellow Sahulian Papuans better educated than that.
ALP wants PNG to be our version of Mexico

The extra money comes in buying spare parts, training operators of the subs, training engineers to maintain the subs, infrastructure to support the subs and administration of of the subs, not to mentions sub committee's.

Do we need subs at all?

If we developed our own nuclear weapons.
Placed around our island.

Would that not be enough significant deter against any aggression towards our shores?

Why are we looking always to the offensive position and always in support of American aggression?

Why should we not just protect over selves and begone with fighting wars we have nothing to do with ?

As for inflation:

Memo for gruesome mainstream neoclassical economists and their discredited NAIRU dogma.

Issuing the money directly will not inflate prices if the funds are used to increase the domestic supply of goods and services. Supply and demand will then go up together, keeping prices stable.

So economists employed by a nation's Treasury and Central Bank should be studying the nation's available resources and productive capacity - a 'stock-taking' exercise - to ensure supply is always sufficent to meet demand, and demand never exceeds supply.

As opposed to manipulating interest rates which unfairly burden the least well-off, while the fool Bullock is refusing to cut rates until unemployment rises.

[In 2016, Trump correctly said "our nation can't default because you print the money", but Musk seems to be leading him down the 'balanced government budget/cutting spending' path ...meaning 'public austerity'....

Good points; the Pentagon's attempt to maintain US global hegemony shouldn't be assisted by Oz taxpayers.

We would be smarter to bolster international law....
