Yet another mass shooting in a school in the US

There's been yet another mass shooting at a school in the United States, with multiple people murdered by a teenage shooter. Prayers have been offered, yet again, and as always, nothing will be done to address the gun problem plaguing America because apparently guns are not the problem when it comes to mass shootings. Yeah, go figure! Oh, and all this while MAGA cult members want their Dear Leader to stymie or altogether abolish the ATF. America - land of the free, home of the stupid.

But even then, guns probably won't be blamed and instead, other rights will be taken away from the people instead of their guns.

Absolutely! Trump is being encouraged by his MAGA cult morons to "put a leash" on the ATF (some want it abolished entirely) and abolish altogether the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention in an apparent attempt to loosen restrictions on gun owners across the US. Every year for the past however many years it has been that I've checked, there's been more mass shootings in the US than there's been days in the year - so more than one per day, statistically speaking. America has so many guns, there's just over one gun for every man, woman and child in the country. Yet they say, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, that guns are not the problem when it comes to mass shootings. They don't even want background checks to ensure some fruit loop nutjob with a history of violent mental illness can't get their hands on a gun and go on a killing spree because the voices in their head told them to. Makes me incredibly grateful that I live in Australia and even more grateful for what John Howard did in the wake of the Port Arthur massacre.

In America:

. Murder is illegal.

. Attempting to murder is illegal.

. A criminal felon possessing, attempting to purchase, or in any way owning a firearm is illegal.

. It is illegal for a person with a diagnosed violent form of mental illness to possess, attempt to purchase, or in any way own a firearm.

. Shooting & indiscriminately killing people, including children, is illegal.

. Using firearms in any criminal manner is illegal.

Fact: Criminals don't obey laws.

Fact: Murders are committed by bad, defective people, not law-abiding, gun owning American Citizens.

Just because some sick, demented, & misguided person uses a firearm to kill men, women, or children, it is absolutely no reason whatsoever for the more than three hundred million Law-Abiding American Citizens to even consider relinquishing their firearms, or any of their Constitutional Rights affirming their Right to Keep & Bear Arms used to defend themselves, their loved ones, & their friends, because of those few criminals.

If anything, it should redouble the resolve of all law-abiding Americans countrywide to make sure they are prepared to use any & all means, up to & including deadly force, to defend themselves, their loved ones, & their friends & fellow citizens from those criminals.

Mass shootings are a fact of life in America (JD Vance)....The killing of innocent people is irrelivant to the right to own a firearm for personal protection....If background checks and restrictions on certain firearms are enacted the right to bear arms will be infringed upon preventing American's with mental health problems or a criminal history from possessing firearms which is their right....More guns and less restrictions are the answer as well as arming teachers and putting armed guards in school playgrounds....Everyone should be required to carry a gun in public to make everyone safer....More guns means less Yanks....What is the problem???
