You do comprehend your own comments, I hope.
Obviously, the Union Jack forms the first quarter of the Oz flag.

It has the Union Jack in the canton of a blue field displaying five white multipointed stars in the form of the Southern Cross constellation plus a seven-pointed “Commonwealth Star” (representing the six Australian states and the Northern Territory).

I would suggest that stubborn nonsense by Eoin on this topic compares with arguments for more bullets being fired to promote public safety.

A bit of relevant information.
‘’ Mass Shootings by Country
Mass shootings are defined differently across the world, and these definitions have a major impact on how they are calculated. In the United States alone, whether one counts the total number of mass shootings, regardless of the number of deaths, or the number of mass shootings with 3 or more deaths changes the number of mass shootings counted drastically. As a point of comparison, in 2022, the US had 647 mass shooting incidents, but only 12 of these had 3 or more fatalities.
In many African countries, mass shootings are not counted as such, but rather are classified as other types of deadly events. This is due to the fact that there can be different interpretations of what constitutes a mass shooting in different cultures, resulting in varying definitions that can mask the true number of incidents. For example, some countries may not include shootings if there are fewer than four fatalities. Other nations might also count an event as a mass shooting even if it involves fewer deaths if it was carried out by multiple individuals.
There is also the issue of weapon type; some countries may only consider firearms when calculating mass shootings while others will also take into account explosives or other weapons. Ultimately, all these discrepancies mean that the total number of recorded mass shooting incidents varies greatly from country to country, which poses a major challenge when trying to obtain reliable data and make accurate comparisons between regions or nations, and also explains why parts of the world seem to not have any mass shooting incidents.’’

Only a quarter? Anyway - for the sake of the argument, you said "The Union Jack (meaning the Oz flag) will become the swastika with no train strikes, no crime and no questions."

Ah-ha...so 'voluntary agreement' - the delusion of Libertarians - is sufficient ground on which to base (the Oz) government.

Naturally , "poverty is always with us", so better arm yourself...

I'm gonna need a bigger gun.
Buying someone a drink spiked with cyanide works better.

What I’d like to know, and perchance you can tell me, is, what has the status of the country got to do with it?
Mexico has a higher gun death rate than the US, why do you not have a go at it ?

‘’Countries with the Highest Rates of Violent Gun Death (Homicides) per 100k residents in 2019

Venezuela      37.31
El Salvador      36.51
Guatemala      32.49
United States Virgin Islands      27.09
Colombia      24.90
Brazil      23.32
Puerto Rico      21.10
Bahamas      20.43
Belize      19.66
Honduras      19.32

The USA does not get a mention, the data is a bit old but things haven’t changed much since then.
So, if you’re really concerned about gun deaths there’s 10 countries that could fulfil your needs.

You're just looking at homicides.

If you look at all causes, the US comes in at number 2.

Countries with the Highest Total Gun Deaths (all causes) in 2019:

Brazil - 49,437

United States - 37,040

All causes includes suicide which, as I’ve said, is a legal category of gun deaths so should not be counted in with illegal categories and if memory serves me right, accounts for around 42%./55% depending on the source of the information.
Totals of anything are misleading that’s why rate is used by statisticians when comparing data relating to population.

Sounds like one of your arguments; and despite all the misinformation both lay and official the flag in the hoist of the Australian flag is not the Union Jack, it’s the Union flag.
