Americas health system
Dec 18th, 2024 at 9:36am

America have one of the worst health systems in the world. They have had qualified and health experts run the system and yet it is still one of the worst in the world.

But they take pride in their health system and do not want unqualified people running it and ruining their poor record.

Thats the big fear, if RFK can make the system better then the qualified people will look stupid.

By the time Trump and RFK Jr. finish with America's so called healthcare system it will be at least twice as bad as it is today.

And there will be a lot more sick and dead people.

But, don't just take my word for it.

'Things will start to topple': Report outlines possible public health disaster under Trump

Quote:
A new report from NPR outlines just how quickly public health in the United States could unravel should anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. be confirmed to run the Health and Human Services Department.

NPR spoke with several public health experts who feared that RFK Jr.'s appointment as the nation's top health official could "cause renewed, deadly epidemics of measles, whooping cough, meningitis, or even polio."

James Hodge, a public health law expert at Arizona State University's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, said that putting Kennedy in charge of HHS would be a sea change in public health policy -- and not for the better.

Quote:
"The litany of things that will start to topple is profound," he said. "We're going to experience a seminal change in vaccine law and policy."

Lawrence Gostin, a professor of public health law at Georgetown University, was even more blunt about the impact of Kennedy's appointment and declared, "He's going to make America sick again."

Yes, he most certainly will. The next 4 years are going to be a disaster for Americans' health.

You have to be a colossal idiot to want to pull the polio vaccine.

Bad enough way too many irresponsible parents no longer vaccinate their children and measles is, again, killing children. Now withdraw the polio vaccine???

Nothing could be worst than the experts that run the system now. Americans have the worst system and the people are in the worst health.

People are fighting to save a system that is terrible and the peoples health is amongst the worst in any country.

I dont think the people have been as unhealthy in any time in history than they are now.

When RoevWade was overturned I looked at maternal death rates.

Alabama—48/100K births

Down to

New York—10 deaths/100K births.

Australia—5 deaths/100K births.

Since I have read of horror cases:

1. A woman’s water broke—fetus was at a stage before it had developed lungs so it died. A D&C should have been done but no, after 6 weeks, so the dead fetus was left in the womb until sepsis put the mother’s life in danger and the dead body was removed from the woman’s uterus.

2. Same with partial miscarriages. Not only was the same scenario as above the woman was quizzed as if she had tried to abort the fetus.

On and on it goes. Will try to find current maternal death rates, they will be higher.

Panther enthused “over 100,000 babys’ lives saved!” Unwanted children, be a huge juvenile delinquency starting in 10 years time!

And some of the mothers likely are now in a desperate financial situation—with a baby she likely would lose her job(s) so what sort of home can she provide for her unwanted child?

Interesting!

Quote:
Here are some recent birth rate statistics for the United States:
2024
The birth rate in the United States in 2024 is 12.009 births per 1,000 people, a 0.12% decline from 2023.

2023
The birth rate in the United States in 2023 was 12.023 births per 1,000 people, a 0.09% increase from 2022.

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/births.htm

So it seems that women have managed contraception/birth control/abortion to overcome the evil anti-abortion laws.

The very people that provided the shorter life span, sicker lives last ranked health system seem to think they are the best to judge who is qualified. I think they are lacking in irony.

Quote:
“The US is failing one of its principal obligations as a nation: to protect the health and welfare of its people,” said Joseph Betancourt, MD, president of The Commonwealth Fund, in a statement.2 “The status quo—continually spending the most and getting the least for our health care dollars—is not sustainable. It isn’t about lack of resources—it’s clearly about how they are being spent. Too many Americans are living shorter, sicker lives because of this failure. We need to build a health system that is affordable and that works for everyone. It’s past time that we step up to this challenge.”

I know, right? But you wait. On Jan 20, you'll be saying how marvellous the health system is.

Nothing to see here, leftards, you'll say. How utterly awesome.
