Well the options are now quite clear.

Go live in a National park.

Are we really a first world country?

I lived in a van for a few months when I was younger. Are they going to start fining backpackers too?

I offered youse the Twelve State Solution along with the Two State Solution... secede from Queensland NOW!  Develop more local states more in tune with the needs and requirements of the people who LIVE.... there...

They're chopping up states
They're making up new ones
They're making it better
For the people who LIVE.... there...

People of Queensland,
You can make it great,
Put it on your plate
And chop it up....

You can have your own ways,
Governed right for once,
You can make it great again,
Just chop it up.....

(chorus) ...

I was about to post another link to the same thing.  NO - we are not a First World Country - but don't let mothra catch you saying that - she feels it is derogatory to the Second and Third Worlds - not to mention the Fourth World.

This country is rapidly becoming a disgrace.

I don’t think they will discriminate.
My heart actually goes out the rangers who will police this, heartbreaking work and also very dangerous.

This has been a issue for sometime.

Different parts of Qld suffer from outrageous amounts of homelessness.

Beyond the headline is a very complicated situation involving a whole community.

I believe the council when challenged in court will fail poorly.

However that doesn’t solve anything.

It’s difficult when you have to ask the homeless to pack up and move so you can back your car out of your garage too go to work.

Simply pushing these people into National parks is crazy suggestion and if there was a caravan parks available they would be over run.
I wish I had a answer.

Labor has done this with mass immigration.

I don’t know, definitely the obvious response shouldn’t be bringing in ten thousand immigrants to Brisbane greater area.

Regardless what I read in the link Is these are damaged, traumatised fellow Australians.

And the whole of government response is “ go live in a national park “?

Also it’s a extremely confrontational situation when every day your surrounded by homeless and begging on a very large scale.

I know the area. You couldn’t pay me enough to live there.

Just being honest.

Shouldn't the Govt be providing - let's say army tents and Portaloos and showers and a cooking area etc -
to try and help these Aussies that have been discarded by their policies?

Instead of helping them they get fined for money they don't have -
as if the answer to every problem is punish the victims.

The Morton bay council has been so lenient over a decade that they are partly to blame the situation.

If you accept people living rough more will follow till it’s a huge problem.

I don’t have answers. I wish I did.

It’s definitely a big problem and won’t be solved by half baked pathetic council bylaws.

We need to dig deeper for a solution than just saying walk off into a National park and survive on your own.

There are plenty of taxpayer funded stadiums in Brisbane so definitely that along with tents and support services could help?
Most just seem to want employment too get back on they feet again?
I wish I had a solution 😓

Jim Chalmers should turn up and make a heart felt apology to all those people
while tears run down his face - saying -

"I did this with Albo's mass immigration policies"

and he should promise to help them.
