The link you gave takes you to the crime numbers. Which have not doubled. You can change it to the rate, which looks like it has gone up 28%. Not double.

Still, something going on, as the rate is dropping in other places.

Sorry about that, I was going on the crime numbers which have almost doubled and, of course the raw numbers are meaningless statistically unless converted to the rate.

Something is certainly going on, I’ve looked at a few other places, and crime rates seem to be moving up in bigger cities.

Crime rate is going down in Brisbane.

Not all crime and the overall picture is not good.

Bit hard to figure out what that site is trying to say. I suspect nothing.

The question is are they wrong?

And if so, why?

It's hard to be wrong if you don't actually say anything.

Or, answers questions.

Why were you a corrupt Lawyer, forced out onto the streets to drive cabs?

That’s a little harsh?
His allowed an opinion.
I actually know a lawyer who drives for Uber, got the classic high range Lexus .

He loves the flexibility of hours and enjoys meeting people.

A normal week he earns between $800 to $1100

That’s not bad money for a 30 ish  hour week!?!

Thomas A. Edison said as early as in 1931, “I’d put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that.”

Rocky called when he got the word
And he said: "I suppose you've heard
About Alice"
When I rushed to the coppers
And I looked outside
And I could hardly believe my eyes
As Rockhampton rocked up
In Alice's style...

Oh, I don't know why they're leaving
Or where they're gonna go
I guess they've got their reasons
Maybe it's the flood of snow
'Cos for twenty-four years
Rocky's been nothing like Alice
Twenty-four years just sitting on the coast
Thinking that the crime rate was something they could boast
Now they've got to get used to living with crime like Alice...

They played up together
Got out in the dark
They carved their crime sprees
In every suburb Park
Rocky and Alice
Now she walks through the door
With her cuffs locked tight
Just for a moment, I caught her eye
As a big Black Maria pulled slowly
Out of Alice's drive

Oh, I don't know why they're leaving
Or where they're gonna go
I guess they've got their reasons
Maybe it's the flood of snow
'Cos for twenty-four years
Rocky's been nothing like Alice
Twenty-four years just waiting for a chance
To make that crime for real, home invasions at a glance
Now they've gotta get used to living with crime like Alice...

And Rocky called back and asked how I felt
And he said: "I know how to help
Get more like Alice"
He said: "Now Alice is gone
But I'm still here
You know I've been imprisoned
For twenty-four years..."
And a big easy dream disappeared...

Oh, I sure know why they're leaving
Or why they're gonna go
I guess they've got their reasons
Maybe it's the flood of snow
'Cos for twenty-four years
Rocky's been nothing like Alice
Twenty-four years just sitting on the coast
Thinking that the crime rate was something they could boast
But they'll never get  used to living with crime like Alice...

No, they'll never get used to living with crime like Alice...

(Alice?  Where TF is Alice?) ......   Shocked
