I can say that sending anything so some PO three hours away from me and addressed as you say it was makes the thing an ideal target for PO thief. Why did you not register it, and ask that there be a signature on receipt. Too hard?

I could have sent it to a PO in WA, the phone call would still have gotten my envelope delivered to your letterbox. How far the PO was from you is totally irrelevant yet you trott it out as “proof” you didn’t get the envelope—in other words you rang the PO and the envelope was delivered to your letterbox.
