Many are here working on tourist visas aka illegally.

Many get knocked back entry at the airport because they are found to be entering for reasons other than their visas allow.

- because it's a common occurrence - Chinese people coming to Australia on tourist visas - with the intent to work - are then taken advantage of - they are often visa overstayers and are regularly caught by the AFP/Immigration authorities.

It they were legal when applying for a working visa the company they work for would be identified by immigration
officials so probably not legal workers.

I would imagine companies that hire immigrants through the visa system would be paying correct wages because they sponsor the worker and are exposed to government departments.

If they are australians then you would expect them to have been exposed to the laws about minimum wages.

From all that the only logical question to ask would be............
