A father-of-two is being remembered as a “beautiful young man” after he died in a tragic workplace incident on Christmas Eve.
Aaron Greentree, 29, was electrocuted while working at a house in Sydney’s southwest on Tuesday morning, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Emergency services were called to the house on Jet Place in Eagle Vale following reports a man had been electrocuted.
Mr Greentree could not be revived.
A person closed to Mr Greentree’s family told The Daily Telegraph that Mr Greentree had two young daughters with his long-term partner.
“We can’t even begin to understand this … he was the best dad, we are shattered for his girls,” they said.
“How do you break this news to them, especially on Christmas?”
Aaron Greentree was electrocuted at a worksite on Jet Place in Eagle Vale.
“He was a beautiful young man. May he rest in peace.”
Police referred the incident to SafeWork NSW after setting up a crime scene.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.

Safe Work Australia data shows 148 people died on Australian worksites in 2024.
That is fewer than the 200 lives lost in 2023, and below the five-year average of 191.
Construction is the third deadliest industry as classified by Safe Work Australia.
Most deaths occur in the transport, postal and warehousing industries, followed by agriculture, forestry and fishing.
