Two die in separate incidents in Sydney to Hobart yacht race

Two people have died in separate incidents during the Sydney to Hobart yacht race, one sailing on Bowline and another on Flying Fish Arctos.

Police say both were struck by sail booms overnight.

the massive Antarctic circumpolar winds and currents.

A Perth to Zanzibar race would be more exciting, especially when they're chased by negro pirates. That should sort the fast from the slow.

It's Sydney to Hobart for a reason -
the roaring 40s always blow with strong winds -
essential for racing yachts.
