German electricity, THIRTY TIMES LOWER than demand

Europe - when the wind doesn't blow, and the sun doesn't shine,
.....and "German electricity production from wind and solar power
WAS THIRTY TIMES LOWER
than the demand for it."

If the LEFTIST, GREEN, 'spin doctors' lied to us [don't they always???],
......and if the projected energy production from renewable 'resources' [that we were 'sold'], was, it turns out, a unrealistic 'guess-timate',
and if we now have no serviceable [have dismantled our] coal fired power stations,
AND IF WE ALL STILL, WANT ACCESS TO LOTS OF ELECTRICITY,
what can we do ?

And, what will happen to the cost for electrical power [especially, for those industries who will be forced to close, unless they are able to stay productively competitive] ?

On December 12 of this year, for example, German electricity production from wind and solar power was thirty times lower than the demand for it.

But this is "for the planet", right? Not even close. Despite its commitment to so-called green energies, Germany still has a high carbon footprint due to its increased reliance on coal and lignite to make up for energy shortfalls.

Germany's high electricity prices are leading to the relocation of its industry, as companies look for sites where energy costs are more affordable. How can you stay viable when you pay three times more for electricity than your competitors?

Whole swathes of Germany's proud industry are collapsing. We only remember the big names -- VW, BASF, Mercedes-Benz -- but every big company that disappears or downsizes takes with it a myriad of small and medium-sized enterprises that end up collapsing along with it.

Dependence on unreliable energy sources (wind, solar), combined with the hasty phase-out of nuclear power, has made Germany's electricity the most expensive in Europe and compromises the country's -- and ultimately the continent's -- energy autonomy.

QUESTION;
Will governments be 'forced' to 'strategically' subsidise electricity for essential national industries ?

Thereby driving up the real cost of electricity for all domestic users ?

If governments do choose, to subsidise electricity for what they deem to be, essential national industries,
that act, will reduce the remaining availability [the supply] of electricity,
for the rest of the market,
which will force up prices, for that 'remaining' available energy supply.

IN ANY OPEN MARKET....
Smaller supply, means prices for that 'good' will go up.

New election due I believe in February.
The continued rise of the “ right “
Expect to have 20% support again at the next election!
The second highest polling party in Germany!
A far right party!!
Many issues facing the Deutschland.

Power supply isn’t as big as issue as history repeats.
Austria also polls well with the far right.

There is trouble brewing.

Adopting the Inuit/Eskimo practice of throwing the aged & infirm out on the ice for the Polar Bears. I hope this Labour poof gets the arse(pun intended) after 1 term.

Which at best are themselves 30% efficient. That makes them about 9% efficient.
