Australia has been a 'State' of the USA just as much as it has been a part of British extension.
The Prime Ministers, regardless of Party, always serve the USA.
The Govenor-Generals always serve Great Britain.
It's always been this way as surely as Sydney is the International capital city and Melbourne is the Domestic capital city (insular, like America)... as surely as Great Britain has Sydney Rugby League and America knows Aussie Rules.
The difference is though.
That Great Britain Politics is the modern and true Western (Europe) Politics.
While America's politics, rejected the British long ago, to adopt the ARCHAIC Western politics of Rome/Athens, which Germany still adhered to, to its Nazi doom and France is still adhering to, to its doom as well.
Basically, the USA is the false (past) Political nation stuck in the past (end of the world) and Australia is best suited to keeping to the British politics which adapts with modern times and adheres to the whole world and the Commonwealth to keep it moving into the future.
...but the temptation of many Australians, to reject the British politics here and run like headless Republican chickens to all things USA and a President as head of State is a very flawed escape plan from a British prison. It will only lead to a Death Penalty for this country under the USA.
The proof of all this is in how the anti monarchist Republicans here in Australia chirp every election, every visit of royalty or when the Queen died. They're mostly all 'media celebrities' like Brian Brown and Thomas Keneally who knows sweet f#@k all about Politics because they think that being anti Royal justifies a 'political' change here. Royalty is Master of Ceremony like Music, Entertainment, Pageant & Pomp, Tourism and all the things the Media associates with 'cohesively & culturally' as Left.
The Royals of the United Kingdom do not meddle with the Political Ministers of Great Britain.
They are two separate and distinct entities of the Binary nation.
So considering (as the Democrats showed) the USA is run by the archaic politics of Europe whose nations are weakening in politics, but growing towards a better future in Eurovision and other lefty cultures.
We should not compromise our POLITICAL essence under the 'sponsorship' of Great Britain for the sake of a nation of Entertainers who only 'act' like they are a politically superior alternative.

and Great Britain being King Arthur.
...in time, like Percival. Australia has to reject America for what it is. NOT the Holy Grail.
So stand firm in Politics Australia and look not behind in distraction at America at the end of the world (archaic politics), but keep your gaze firmly ahead upon the Holy Grail which is Great Britain. The nation whose Politics the whole world will accept as the truth!
