Video showing racist chant at Australia-India Boxing Day Test labelled 'not appropriate'.

A recent Australian ABC article reports a so-called 'racist' chant by Australians:

A social media video showing some fans singing a racist chant at the Boxing Day Test has made headlines in India.

Online Indian news outlets have linked this so-called "VisaGate" to "MonkeyGate" - the 2008 ethnic taunt against Andrew Simmonds...

Except... errr... That was over Indian ethnic taunts against an Australian of mixed race...

That Indians should be offended by so-called 'racism' at all exposes a blatant irony and their bald hypocrisy...

Not a second goes by in India/Hindustan/Bharat where its peoples do not express blatant caste, cultural, religious, ethnic, economic, or lingual chauvinism against their fellow Hindustanis. They express it whenever they can.

As for Australian breast-beating...

Maybe Australian politicians should wake up to what they all have allowed to persist: the abuse of the Australian student visa system to import migrant workers.

Sure, they might argue that they have Astralia's best interests at heart...

All cultures are equal..... diversity is strength .... truth is slavery ....

Warning visitors not to jump off the bridge, risking paralysing injury as happened once or so, is like 'bigotry' - just 'wowsers trying to stop them having fun'... same as chasing our dolphins, hassling whales, and you know - driving on the wrong side of the road and all that... stealing cars, breaking into homes, gang fighting - just kids having fun ... and all those wowsers trying to speak against them - little old widowed ladies wanting to be safe in their own homes and keep their hard-earned cars and such safe!!

The next town up is becoming more like Alice every day - couple of hours up the highway is now the crime capital of NSW ... Usual Suspects ...

Both of those town have approximately three times the national average Usual Suspect population.... no correlation of course. When I said a fine name for a doco would be A Town Like Alice the applause could be heard for miles.... and one small voice said 'why do yez all blame the Abos?' - never mentioned them .... never have to ..... just say 'crime' and everyone instantly knows....

I know. The Indian Bride. My partner of 30 plus years. I am as Aussie as the driven snow, she is Indian as the driven snow with some Western influence. But.

Her entire Family is Indian to the core, and not once, never, ever ever, ever has there been any discord about me or with me. Not ever. I have been to India with them, I have lived with them in India, I have met all their friends and neighbours in India. Nothing other than total ...... nothing. Nothing. Just normal interaction between people.

Just last year, 2024, April, an Indian Family moved into next door.

I am now regarded, and I am humble and a tad coy about this, as one of their respected Family Seniors, just because I am me, friendly, open as they are.

Everyone is like everyone. You treat people with respect, respect you will get back. You treat people as a friend, you will get a friend in return.

Simple human stuff.

Indian male actors with darker skin are more masculine.

That isn't even close to explaining the Indian fixation with pale skin.

And it's not delimited by gender.

In India, men and women with dark skin are routinely - as in always and everywhere - blatantly discriminated against...

Even the great Mahatma Gandhi did it during his time in South Africa where he always complained bitterly whenever he was forced to travel in a train carriage reserved for black Africans.
