Mayor Karen Hyslop of Northern Grampians Shire said that the bushfire in the Grampians National Park in Victoria was declared contained on January 6, 2025, after burning out of control for three weeks. Australia does better and greater fires and they are out of control for longer. Water was donated to Grampians Gays for water-slides, showers, hair washing and flower-bed watering.
