Firefighters catch another man setting fires in San Gabriel Valley

Officers arrested a man for arson on Sunday afternoon after firefighters caught him actively starting fires in Irwindale, according to the city’s police department.

Irwindale Police reported that crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were in the area responding to a small brush fire near Rivergrade Road and the 605 Freeway around 12:30 p.m. when they observed the arsonist in action.

Police officers quickly responded to the scene and detained the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Ruben Montes of Baldwin Park. While details are limited and initial reports did not specify where Montes was booked, police confirmed that he was arrested for arson.

It's just been reported that he voted for Trump in November.

Quote:
Police have yet to uncover a motive to the arson attacks, but have found posts made by Mr Montes on social media attacking California Governor Gavin Newsom and calling on "patriots to burn California to the growned" (sic).

Sounds like a Superior Man to me.

Gay Choirs, Trans Cafes And Social Justice Art:
What LA Spent Money On While Cutting Its Fire Budget

Stop posting fake news, Bobbi.

The budget for the fire department in Fiscal Year 2024 - 2025 increased from $819.6 million to $895.6 million.

When compared to the previous year's budget (Fiscal Year 2023 - 2024), this current year's fire department budget in total is larger by $58.4 million.

Gavin Newsom Cut $100M From Fire Prevention Budget Before California Fires

Newsweek
https://www.newsweek.com/gavin-newsom-cut-100m-fire-prevention-budget-before-california-fires-2012980

Own goal, old boy.

From your very own link:

"However overall, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE)'s wildfire protection budget has increased sharply from $1.1 billion in 2014 to $3 billion in 2023, much of which took place after Newsom became governor in 2019."

Grin

Over 10 years. For california

Last year it was cut, as Newsweek showed.

LA is not the whole of California. It has its own mayor and LGBT + fire chief prioritising DEI over water in hydrants.

Google “Shoplifting in San Francisco” and you will find more than 100,000 hits. And you will find lots of YouTube videos, where you can watch a single thief, or an entire gang, walk into an SF Walgreens or CVS and empty the shelves. Most walk in, go about their pilfering, and then walk out, though at least one thief rode their bike into the store and departed the same way, carefully navigating their two-wheeler down a narrow aisle.

Why is shoplifting so rampant? Because state law holds that stealing merchandise worth $950 or less is just a misdemeanor, which means that law enforcement probably won’t bother to investigate, and if they do, prosecutors will let it go.

Writer Vicky Osterweil's book, In Defense of Looting, came out on Tuesday. Osterweil is a self-described writer, editor and agitator who has been writing about and participating in protests for years. And her book arrives as the continued protests have emerged as a bitter dividing point in the presidential race.

When she finished it, back in April, she wrote that "a new energy of resistance is building across the country."  She stakes out a provocative position: that looting is a powerful tool to bring about real, lasting change in society. The rioters who smash windows and take items from stores, she claims, are engaging in a powerful tactic that questions the justice of "law and order," and the distribution of property and wealth in an unequal society.

Sure, but it's okay when MAGA arsonists gets caught starting fires to "burn California to the ground", just as Aquascoot advised.

The SM, "noble Alpha", good with a lighter and a gallon of gas. What kind of man?

It does a number of important things. It gets people what they need for free immediately, which means that they are capable of living and reproducing their lives without having to rely on jobs or a wage That's looting's most basic tactical power as a political mode of action.

It also attacks the very way in which food and things are distributed. It attacks the idea of property, and it attacks the idea that in order for someone to have a roof over their head or have a meal ticket, they have to work for a boss, in order to buy things that people just like them somewhere else in the world had to make under the same conditions. It points to the way in which that's unjust. And the reason that the world is organized that way, obviously, is for the profit of the people who own the stores and the factories. So you get to the heart of that property relation, and demonstrate that without police and without state oppression, we can have things for free.

They should pack up and move to Florida, as Aquascoot also advised. There, they can enjoy the "noble Ron's" book burns.

No tranny firepersons there. Ron makes sure to have a couple of priests standing by to pray, in case things get out of hand.

Belt and braces, innit.
