Lighting fires, is it?
I see. So whodunnit?
No one at this stage knows. And all the other is just theatre. I don't care if it is a cyborg running these departments, as long as they do their job.

Along the way, we've explored water catchments (empty), fire department funding (increased) and now unprecedented heat and wind (that somehow, against all expert advice, doesn't spread fires).
Whoever said winds didn't spread fires? Apart from you that is. Because that would make them a numpty also.
Wind is a drying agent. It makes grasses what is known as a one-hour fuel. That mean it can go from wet to flammable in one hour.

You're our board's resident expert fireman, no?
Expert fireman? no. I am a volunteer and although I have the training and refreshers, there are not many fires here. Yesterday I was at one started by an angle grinder. Last time I looked angle grinders also weren't classed as climate. Fireman - yes.
