You can't have aussies go fight in someones war and then cry when they get killed. He shouldn't have been there.

If he swore an oath to that country he is protected by the rules of war.  Time for the West to grow some balls.

Rules of war? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

blowing up women and kids is ok but shooting a soldier isn't? What moron made up these rules?

The real question is why didn't Airbus Albo save him? Dutton is not the Prime Minister.

What we do not need is Peter Dutton calling for expulsions and sanctions before all the facts are known???

Quote:
Australia to take 'strongest action possible' against Russia if Oscar Jenkins has been killed

The government is considering diplomatic retaliation if reports that Melbourne man Oscar Jenkins has been killed in Ukraine by Russian forces are confirmed.

Key Points

Officials are investigating reports Melbourne teacher Oscar Jenkins has been killed by Russian forces in Ukraine.

The Russian ambassador has been called into the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to clarify the reports.

Foreign Minister Penny Wong is now weighing up whether to expel Moscow's representative in Canberra.

Albo has made on record comments today , without all facts being known.
Duddo can very easily communicate that he will not comment till all facts are known?

Given we are but months away from a federal election I believe a situation of this nature deserves both
( cough) “ leaders “ too put forward their respective parties position.

I have learned my lesson.
I ( and millions others) didn’t vote Albo in.
We voted Scomo out.
And found ourselves with exactly the same same.

I have no intention of voting for Duddo if he doesn’t offer anything different than Albo.

It’s just a different pigs too the same trough.

I expect Duddo will run a very small target campaign.
I honestly think after the criticism he copped for the nuclear energy announcement he will sit very quiet and win simply by not being Albo.
As Albo won by not being Scomo.

As voters we need to scratch a little deeper and ask what they would do in the same situations .

So we can make a intelligent decision on how we vote.

So far I’m still handing in a blank ballot unless convince otherwise.

If you think Labor and Liberals are the same then maybe you shouldn’t be allowed to vote..

This Labor/Greens party has destroyed Australia economy and prosperity…

I thought the Libs were bad but Albozo was like “Hold me Beer” 🍺

They have just borrowed money and just pissed it everywhere causing massive inflation - do you understand what inflation does to your money?

They have divided Australians more than ever with their divisiveness and divisive “Voice” bullshit…

Flooded Australia with immigrants who hate us and WON’T / DON’T to assimilate ..

Causing Energy prices to skyrocket with insane green energy policies..

The first thing they did in Government was to sneakily work on bring ISIS brides and radical children to aust..

Then the Drug Mules…

The NDIS mess - they just threw billions “at it” and The Australian taxpayers have been ripped off ever since..

He lies constantly and hasn’t delivered on one of his promises - not even the pissy $275 better off on energy..

interest rates have increased 12 times, meaning that mortgage repayments are 62 per cent higher than when the Albanese government came into office..

For the past six quarters in a row, GDP per capita growth has been negative, the worst result in 50 years...

It’s impossible for young people to get into the housing market, with record immigration levels meaning that housing supply is nowhere near keeping up with demand...

groceries, rent, gas, insurance, EVERYTHING is more expensive…

Frontier Economics released a report that revealed the cost of building a renewable-only power grid is more than $500 billion higher than what the Albanese government has claimed... more lies

If a first world country cannot supply enough electricity for times when there is peak demand, well, as Chris Uhlmann put it, we are on a pathway to poverty while Bowen and his cronies conduct an experiment with the most essential of services, and destroying arable land and forests in doing so...”Blackout Bowen”…. As dumb as a rock.. 🪨

Jim Chalmers, after last year’s $15.8 billion surplus – thanks to soaring tax collections from mining companies who the government demonises – will manage to turn that into deficit of $33.5 billion this financial year….. 46 Billion in 25 - 26… and now the dumb as dogpoop treasurer “cough”… wants to get his hands on our future fund… which Labor will piss up against a wall…

And when his wasteful “Voice” got voted down after 18 months of Division and half a billion Tax dollars Albozo blames it on “misinformation” and tries to introduce legislation to silence people that spread “false, misleading or deceptive information about … referendum proposals, elections, public health, the economy”, among other things….

His weakness with the Jews and Palestinians has caused more division and hatred…

Seriously…. This is the worst government in my lifetime …

Personally I believe historians will show Malcom Turnball was one of the greatest Labor leaders of all time?

He was never one of the Libs thats for sure lol  Wink

Exactly what did you want Dutton to do?  Remember he doesn't hold a rifle, to misquote his predecessor.  Do you want Australia to go to war against Russia for one man's sake?  You lot are really loons, you realise? When you lot put on a baggy green skin and pick up a rifle and are willing to go to war, you can talk.  Until, you're just a bunch of WOFTAMs.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Why doesn't OP ask why Airbus Albo didn't save him? That's his job, isn't it? He is the Prime Minister. The job of the Leader of the Opposition isn't to govern, but to hold the government accountable. So I ask again, why didn't Albo save him?

Dodging the question - a well worn Tory tactic.  As the question was about Dutton why don't we stick to Mr. Potato Head?  Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I don’t have to ask Albo, his lack of action speaks louder than words.
We are moving towards an election and I want a government that will support Australians overseas and not just those from Palestinian.

I’m awake that Australia has very little at its disposal to punish Russia but at the very least the Russia embassy must be expelled en mass.

The thought of Australia going to war with Russia is quite amusing.
A joke even. We wouldn’t last 48 hours if the Russians could even be bothered to take us seriously.
They would crush our armed forces like it was an annoying mosquito trying to bite.
More likely they would just pay North Korea to infiltrate our border and begin killing us at will.

Point is - murdering combatants in uniform is illegal. Putin and Hamas and the like will eventually have to be stamped out - history tells us that the same kind will only rise again - but at least setting them back delays the onset of anarchy and gangster rule.

Your English sucks.  I think you mean, "Palestine" which many here don't believe exists.  As for the Russians, how well are they doing in Ukraine?   Australia is approximately 4,000 kilometres from the nearest Russian territory.  Considering they are having so much fun, "crushing" the Ukrainians what makes you think they'll do a good job against us?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It is

Russia can't handle a few Ukrainians when they can walk their supplies to their troops

what chance would they have against Australia when they're thousands of kilometers from their supply lines Cheesy Cheesy

Once Oscar was caught what could anybody do....What would Dutton have done to secure the release of Oscar Dickhead.....Oscar was already dead by the time the Australian Government learnt of his capture.....Dutton will take advantage of any situation to stoke division and fear where substance is lacking....Oscar should never have been in Ukraine in the first place!!!
