Is a degree worth getting?

This Yanky guy doesn't seem to think so
but he doesn't say what he studied.
All he does now is wanks his cock and watches TV.

You think a degree is just about getting a job?

It's important to get a job out of it.

You never did.   Roll Eyes

Depends.

It can be but often isn't.

If you want to do something that requires one there isn't much option.

How much will it cost ?

Lots of people are hugely successful without one.
Lots of people get a degree and never use it.

When I have been in a position to employ people I found better value in avoiding applicants with a degree for technical work, they were often more trouble than they were worth. Often a kid off the street would be a better option, they would come up to speed quicker.

There is only one requirement for a good worker and that is a good attitude.

I was surprised at what people with degrees didn't know about.
The syllabus is totally different now and not any better.

No - for a curious person it's wonderful to have knowledge so
that you can understand how things work.

Well, you have no idea of how things work.

No other benefits?

As I was already sure, you have no tertiary education.

If you had even a B.Sc. your MRB would not be such a toilet, such a garbage dump as is your bioweapon thread.

You even told someone, Rhino IIRC, that a “bit of paper” was not worth anywhere near as much as life experience, a common remark by those without higher education.

LOL! Look at your Environment MRB. It is a mess, a toilet of a board. That is because you lack knowledge and intelligence. Your bioweapon thread the same.

Your responses here, your comments about a “piece of paper” also show clearly that you have no education beyond junior HS. Look at replies 66 & 68 in your fatuous ASPD thread.

You also have no idea what a degree confers besides the chance of a better, better paid and more fulfilling employment. You do not have a degree, did no tertiary studies.

You also do not research stuff, and have no idea as to what is evidence or how to present it—again, look at the stupid bioweapon thread in Fringe. An indication of a lack of any education beyond junior HS.

Your “Monk doesn’t know” in response to bullshit by lees really means “Booby doesn’t know” as clearly shown in the The Stupidity of  Booby thread composed just of quotes from you and lees.

Give over, you never went to Uni.
