He doesn't care if they're struck down in court, which many will be - like the unconstitutional revocation of citizenship by birthright - that'll be on the judiciary.

For his base, the dumbest c~nts in the Anglosphere, it'll be enough that he showed what he'd like to do...

They occupied a public building, caused some relatively minor damage and were gone in a few hours. The real issue was the fright they gave the smug politicians who had happily supported violence by BLM and other such groups in various American cities, property destroyed and people killed and injured, but now violence was aimed at them. Instead of a riot this was an 'insurrection' and the participants had to be punished as such.
