LNP government bails out star casino!

Any other business that had ties with organise crime and money laundering as well as numerous licensing breeches would be closed.

But not Star Casino, there fines are waived and now they don’t even have to pay tax!

Queensland LNP is set to prop up the criminal Star casino entertainment group for the “ good of its workers “.

There must be suitcases full of $100 notes arriving at LNP HQ daily!

I know so many business that have never been engaged with organise crime nor been found unfit to hold a alcohol or gambling license that are struggling.

Now can someone explain why the idiot who has taken over from the last idiot running Qld thinks with all the problems facing Queenslanders his number 1 priority should be running star casino business?

His now right up there with Albo propping up the NRL with tax payers money.

Anyway Qld premier “ Davo” has experience in a one term government from his Newman government failure.

Counting the days too kick the Lnp out of Queensland AGAIN.

So if you were the Govt you'd kick 10,000 workers out on the street with no job
when they have their wives, families, mortgages etc to pay for?
Their lives would be destroyed through no fault of their own.
You wouldn't be popular for that either.

Also - a Casino is a magnet for tourism so the Govt would lose $billions on that too.

Sometimes a Govt has to be pragmatic and the solution can hurt too.
They could start by putting the corrupt bosses who were at the casino in jail.
How many have been locked up?
My bet is none. Embarrassed

Stuff up and Star will be nationalised ... The National Casino..... don't be concerned about losing your money here! It will all go into consolidated revenue and feed your politicians and their PS flunkeys and all their pet wet dreams - yer Abos will lay a claim on it and get royalties.... she'll be right!!! It's all good!!
