BOMs Criminal Homogenization of historic Data..

The BOM must employ "time travellers" that go back in time to correct the "mistakes" of weather men & women of the past, as the geniuses at the BOM belief they were too stupid to accurately record temperatures in the past, because the Prophecies of Greta say it couldn’t have been that hot decades ago - so the old data must be "corrected".

They're a money grubbing corrupt establishment as well. Let's not mention all the EPOs busted by the WA Supreme Court rigging data for $$$ from the Mining Companies.

The BOM has been correcting old weather data to bring it in line with modern measurements, to take into account the old inaccuracies of the past. A good example is the measurements made in Adelaide before 2017 when it relocated its instruments from Kent Town, to the east of the city to the west. The problem with the Kent Town residence was that the weather flow was generally from the west to the east across the city which was grossly inaccurate. They were answering the demands of the climate change deniers who claimed the previous 40 years were inaccurate because of heat island effects. Seems they cannot satisfy everybody all the time. Yes. How do they do that? Statistics can't tell you yesterday's temperature, let alone from 50 or 100 years ago.

This is from the Report in 2015 -

"The Forum noted that the extent to which the development of the ACORN-SAT dataset from the raw data could be automated was likely to be limited, and that the process might better be described as a supervised process in which the roles of metadata and other information required some level of expertise and operator intervention. The Forum investigated the nature of the operator intervention required and the bases on which such decisions are made and concluded that very detailed instructions from the Bureau are likely to be necessary for an end-user who wishes to reproduce the ACORN-SAT findings. Some such details are provided in Centre
for Australian Weather and Climate Research (CAWCR) technical reports (e.g. use of 40 best-correlated sites for adjustments, thresholds for adjustment, and so on); however, the Forum concluded that it is likely to remain the case that several choices within the adjustment process remain a matter of expert judgment and appropriate disciplinary knowledge."
