For example, I can't come up to you in the street and call you a pedophile without running the risk of you suing me for defamation. So I have a responsibility not to go randomly calling people a pedophile. In the case of this woman, she was attending an event attended by the PM and other guests, so you generally wear if not formal attire, at least smart casual out of respect for the office of the PM. You don't wear a shirt with profanity printed on it. Some things, some events are apolitical and this is one of them. Although the PM ought to take a leaf out of that book when he tried to make a "gotcha" moment when he whined about Dutton not attending an event in Canberra for Australia Day when he was attending events in his electorate as he has done for the past 20 years.
