Trump wins round one ...

Wins?

It's a humiliating defeat for Trump.

He's not imposing the tariffs.

In exchange for what, creep?.

Do explain, don't just parrot your moronic stupidity.

Go on, explain.

In exchange for his reputation, which Canada has now destroyed.

So Canada saved his reputation in exchange for destroying his reputation for a pause on US tariffs for a month? How does that make sense to your addled, slandering 'mind', despicable liar?

Creepy turd, you are receiving yourself, as always.

Bad faith (French: mauvaise foi) is the psychological phenomenon whereby individuals act inauthentically, by yielding to the external pressures of society to adopt false values and disown their innate freedom as sentient human beings.[1] Bad faith also derives from the related concepts of self-deception and ressentiment.

You LIVE in bad faith, repulsive liar. Deception and resentment are your first and second names.

Canada agreed to strengthen its borders against illegals going into the US.
"Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has caved to President Donald Trump’s demands to crack down on fentanyl trafficking and to reinforce the Canada-U.S. border after threatening retaliatory tariffs in response to Trump’s."

Mexico ALSO backed down:
"Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum agreed to send 10,000 troops to its northern border as one of the ways to stop a 25 percent tariff from the Trump administration temporarily. The concession comes after days of grandstanding by the Mexican president, who publicly claimed she would stand up for her country’s sovereignty."

So you, thicko as mince-o et al can grimace and shittalk all you like, lying creep, the US threat of stuff tariffs worked.
In North America, the US can and does call the shots. Not Boy Trudeau, who has already resigned and whose idiotic policies will mean a guaranteed change of government in Canada , nor Signora Whatshernamebaum whose country depends entirely on US good will.

Trump destroyed his own reputation by backing down.

Canada and Mexico have given him a very public spit-roasting.

Stick a fork in his ass, he's done.

You are lying, in bad faith.

Trump wanted Mexico and Canada to act on stopping illegal immigration and drug smuggling into the US. He threatened them with 25% tariffs if they do not act.
They are acting, as demanded by the US, so the tariffs are in abeyance while the details are worked out.

That is Trump achieving his goal.

It takes a lying creep and a moron (you) to characterise this as a win for Canada and Mexico.

Art of the deal was a ghost writer who was sorry he wrote it. The book had way too many words for Trump to even read. He had nothing to do with the book.

What did Trump cave in to, lying creep? What threat made him "back down", what threat was he not prepared to face?

Can you say, you stupid, lying creep? (I hope you don't mind me calling you stupid)

That book is Trump's manifesto.

He is saying that we can all get what we want by making the right deal -
fighting for the right deal.
Trump has gigantic balls and he's in for a fight.

Bill Shorten’s speechwriter paid $300,000 a year by Services Australia, Senate estimates told

Graham Freudenberg: speechwriter to Whitlam, Hawke and more

A columnist and sketch writer for the Australian, James Jeffrey, has resigned to join opposition leader Anthony Albanese’s staff as his speech writer.

Jeffrey, who has worked for the News Corp publication for 16 years, is the editor of the humorous daily column Strewth and the author of several books.

What did Trump cave in to, ...

Retaliatory tariffs on American goods from Canada and Mexico.

As soon as they threatened to play his game - and introduce tariffs - the rapist backed down.

Canada - 1

Mexico - 1

Rapist - 0

Took Trump under 2 weeks to crash the economy crash 3 planes and to embarrassingly lose trade wars to Canada and Mexico. He tried to deport American Indians and people who voted for him or their family and every time he spoke it was a lie.

A worse start is not possible.

Yeah and someone slipped on a banana peel in New York and that's Trump's fault too.   Roll Eyes

In the face of a trade war with America’s neighbors, Trump blinked

An objective view of the bizarre showdown with America’s neighbors suggests a blunt truth: Trump blinked.

The president vowed as recently as last week that there was nothing that Canada or Mexico could do to avoid the tariffs he planned to impose.

But he pulled back on imposing them anyway.

What a pussy   Grin

He'll give in to China too.
