The last judicial execution was in Australia was Ronald Ryan, who was hanged in 1967. Ryan was convicted of murdering a prison guard while trying to escape from Pentridge Prison in Victoria.

Over 50 years ago, Bobby. Nearly outside living memory. His execution was questioned quite heavily in society at the time. Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes
