I've worked with some Indian nurses. If they trained in Australia they were sort of okaaay but if they trained in India you had to keep watching them! I once told an Indian nurse that she had to wash her hands after she took off her gloves. She gave me a very narrow look as if why? I've been wearing gloves, so why?

These attitudes are highly prevalent in the Indian community. It's why disease spreads through communities and through hospitals ...

Whereas when I was first doing my training it was drummed into us from Day One! What is the most important thing a nurse can do to prevent the spread of infection? And the obvious answer - WASH HER HANDS!!!

Somehow that message has been lost on the Indians.

Kathmandu in Nepal is full of Indians. It's a filthy place.
I can see why India itself is full of diseases and leprosy.
I always believe that the world's worst pandemic will come from India via a dirty phone call... filthy public phone that has never been cleaned.
The Indian caste system has the promotion of the lowest castes being as filthy as they can be, like a profession. Children born into the begging caste have their bones broken on purpose to be professional beggars. That's how retarded life is there. Bodies of dead untouchables (caste) lay on the sides of roads to rot as it is their lot in life.

Certainly a brown skin but that level of melanin occurs in about a quarter of the world’s people. Another thing that is apparent is that few posters have ever been to India.

They come complete with ethanol better used in petrol. Bali has dengue fever and a few other terrible things ... Sweden sounds a better destination.

Suggest that you all have a look at some videos of South India where the towns and villages are usually very clean.
I have now been to India 10 times in the past 45 years, sometimes for extended stays, and have consequently seen many changes, most for the better,[exceptions are McDonalds, Starbucks and KFC].
I’ll just add that the local beers are excellent and the food is extra grouse, especially from the street or roadside vendors.

Suggest that you all have a look at some videos of South India where the towns and villages are usually very clean.
I have now been to India 10 times in the past 45 years, sometimes for extended stays, and have consequently seen many changes, most for the better,[exceptions are McDonalds, Starbucks and KFC].
I’ll just add that the local beers are excellent and the food is extra grouse, especially from the street or roadside vendors.

I visited India in 1990. I was impressed by just how clean most of the streets were and how clean most of the street vendors of food were. India has pockets of uncleanliness just as do Australian cities. It also has some absolutely filthy places as well. I stayed in one Princes' Palace in Jaipur, in the middle of a slum. I was amazed that some place so magnificent could exist in such a place. I would recommend all the nay sayers that they need to have experience before they can attack a place. Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes

Therefore the food is fresh, clean and affordable.

I have several Indian friends and they are neither dirty nor disgusting.

I value their friendship and absolutely love their food and fascinated by their country cultures and history.

I have a visit to India at number two on my bucket list.

India has a vast population and its impossible to label all under the one name.

I know far more dirty and disgusting Australians than Indians.

It’s always nice too be invited to a bbq as backyard cricket will always be on the menu and a lot of fun!
