Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander readers are advised that this article contains an image of a person who has died, used with permission of his family.

What Aboriginal superstition is the ABC pandering here?

RIP.

Must have been very talented. I had only heard of him in recent years.

Sympathy to his family and friends.

An image on this too.

Recorded in Long Bay Prison 1972.

Aboriginal people do not look at pictures of people once they have died. The ABC is telling them that there is an image of him in the article. They are giving Aboriginal people the option of not viewing the article. I don't see why anyone would have a problem.

For urban Aboriginals or those identifying as Aboriginals that's a crock of shyte.

You would have to be a very disturbed individual to have an issue with that.

It's almost as if some people just go out of their way to find insignificant things to be upset over.

It would seem that's exactly the life you lead... sad.

No self respect ... in that you make a wager or in fact a statement that you would leave this forum if Trump won the 2016 election .... he did and you reneged on your wager .... then 8 years later against all the odds that the Democrats threw at him Trump wins the position of the POTUS again.

It's disappointing to see that you're not a man of your word ... and apparently never have been .. that you're still here misquoting people, defending the indefensible from a leftards perspective.

Even though I respect people that become professional advocates for the industrial and workplace rights of working class Australians.....

I find it hard to believe you ever had any of their interests at heart?

They have the option to open the article or not. Assuming your opinion is correct or maybe not.

Don't just about all Aboriginals identify as Aboriginal ? I hope / think you meant to say something different to what you said.

Not every topic is meant to be or appropriate to use as an excuse to bash Aboriginal people.

This seems to be a great man and talented musician - performer who has passed and deserves some respect.
