You only think that's the case because you don't care about the truth, you just want wins, even if they're fake. So if they lie about condoms to Hamas, you'll call that a win.

Fear is why they’ve bent the knee. Trump is erratic enough to strip away the legislative protections these tech oligarchs depend on for survival.
Imagine, for a moment, if Facebook or Twitter were held accountable for the content they propagate. The EU is already making moves in that direction, hence the billions in fines.
But in the US, if these platforms want Trump’s protection, they must submit.
That means no more fact-checks, even for something as absurdly detached from reality as DOGE.
If that’s the price of keeping Trump onside, so be it.
Of course, this won’t sit well with the EU. Cue Trump wielding trade war threats to shield them from accountability. But what will Trump demand in return? Simple, total narrative control.
These platforms don’t just shape opinions, in the dimmer of society, they shape entire minds. Trump will need that machinery to spin his preferential treatment of billionaires at the direct expense of his own base into some perverse triumph.
Even as food shortages bite, prices soar, and vital services teeter on the edge of privatisation, they must reinforce the illusion that Trump has somehow Made America Great Again. And as dissatisfaction grows, they must suppress the rising #LeavingMAGA movement before it reaches critical mass.
Scoot, your greatest mistake, alongside the broader MAGA cult, is swallowing Trump’s most insidious lie: that even if you’re clinging to the lowest rung of the economic ladder, as long as you’re white, you’re still superior to someone. That belief has now metastasised, expanding to DEI. So now, in their eyes, they’re inherently better than minorities, women, LGBTQ people, the disabled, and anyone else who disrupts their fragile worldview.
It’s been drilled into them so deeply that they don’t even notice Trump betraying them and robbing them blind. In fact, because they have someone to look down on, they’ll gladly empty their pockets for him.
And when the billionaire class reinforces this delusion, convincing millions of struggling people that other struggling people are the reason for rising prices (all while corporate profits and billionaire wealth hit record highs), it ensures their obedience. Suddenly, they’ll swallow anything Trump, MAGA, or DOGE tell them, without question.
Not only will they refuse to question it,they’ll cheer it on, even as their own rights are stripped away and they’re left to rot.
By the time they realise what’s happened, it will be too late. And you, Scoot? You’ll never truly understand, because our beautiful country shields you from that kind of pain. You’ll live out your days as a deluded, lonely old man, still clinging to the wreckage of your misguided beliefs.
And for those who do wake up, who finally grasp the betrayal once they feel the suffering firsthand?
They will not be met with sympathy. Only laughter.
Because they were warned. And there will be no forgiveness for the part they played in ensuring this reality.
