Trump lawyer tying himself in knots

One of Trump's lawyers, who he has nominated to be Deputy Attorney General, is seen here in this video tying himself up in knots in a pathetic attempt to not admit to a blatant conflict of interest in his new (still to be confirmed) role as Deputy A-G. It really is painful to watch this guy do everything he can to avoid answering a very simple and straightforward question. Since he was unable or unwilling to do that, here's the answer - it is a blatantly obvious conflict of interest. Will it matter? No, because the Republicans will use their numbers to ensure he is confirmed as per the wishes of their Dear Leader.

No lawyer who has ever had an attorney-client relationship with any elected politician can ever be appointed to any government position because of conflict of interest.

By this 'logic', Malcolm Turnbull for example, should never have been a member of parliament, let alone PM because he was Kerry Packers lawyer and so has a lifelong commitment and loyalty to the Packe organisation.
