Correct. Using Ukrainian bodies to interfere with incoming Russian artillery shells is illegal. People have no right to be in collapsing apartments at 2 am.

Isn't it the Trumpers throwing the Nazi salutes left right and centre ?

Wasn't it Trumps family wearing the white pointy hats and Musk's family that moved from Canada when Nazism was shut down and then deliberately went to south Africa because they liked Apartheid and then left SA the year that Apartheid was shut down ?

Trump is asking for greater war reparations than Germany were charged for WW1 and they are guilty of nothing.

Trump is supporting the warmongering nut job Putin. Just because he won the 2016 election for him and they are both crazy authoritarians.

Everything we said Trump would do after the election has come true. The right have gone from denying it would happen to now supporting it.

Funny about the hypocrisy of the right - it is never ending.

Wonder how much of that Project 2025 has been accomplished so far that he claimed to know nothing about?

Given the manifesto was 900 pages long, that's pretty impressive.  The more they do, the more his voters "find out".

What is wrong with Project 2025?
Why not have a shift to the right, for a change?

Dialectics, innit.

So shifting to the right means everything being privatised, everybody is dumb and your rights are taken away from you?

Oh, I remember now.prior to the election, the old boy was all what Project 2025? DL said he's never heard of it.

Besides, DL said it sounded horrible and he wanted nothing to do with it, so that's that.

Move on, leftards, nothing to see here.

So now he's in, it's time for, so? What's wrong with Project 2025? Why not have a nice little fascist experiment? Nobody's going to complain, and if they do, we can just lie.

Or as Aquascoot says, lock up anybody who steps out of line.

Of course, they'll all say they said no such thing and how very dare you, but do you know?

They're finally coming out to fess up. We've got their confessions in writing. We know.

LAWFARE !!!!

U.S. and NATO created the crisis in Ukraine in the first place.

1. Broken Promises to Russia – In the early 1990s, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, U.S. officials (including Secretary of State James Baker) assured Russia that NATO would not expand “one inch eastward.”

Despite this, NATO has expanded right up to Russia’s borders, incorporating former Soviet states and increasing military presence near Russia. This was a direct provocation, making Russia feel cornered.

2. Western Meddling in Ukraine – The U.S. and EU actively interfered in Ukraine’s internal politics, particularly in 2014 when the U.S. supported and helped orchestrate the Maidan coup that overthrew Ukraine’s democratically elected President, Viktor Yanukovych, because he was friendly to Russia.

This coup installed a pro-Western government, which led to the alienation of the Russian-speaking population in eastern Ukraine and Crimea. This instability was not initiated by Russia—it was a direct consequence of Western interference.

3. Zelensky and the War Machine – While the. West tries to paint Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a hero resisting Russian aggression, the reality is that Ukraine has been used as a pawn by the U.S. deep state killing 100s of thousands ..

Instead of negotiating for peace early on, Western governments and NATO encouraged Ukraine to resist at all costs, flooding it with weapons and military aid while discouraging diplomatic solutions. The U.S. benefits from a prolonged war because it weakens Russia and enriches the military-industrial complex.

4. Russia’s Response Was Predictable – Russia’s actions in Crimea and Donbas were reactions to Western  provocations, not unprovoked aggression. Crimea, for example, voted overwhelmingly to rejoin Russia in 2014 after the U.S.-backed coup in Kyiv. The ethnic Russian population in eastern Ukraine faced shelling from the Ukrainian military for years before Russia finally intervened.

5. The Hypocrisy of Western Intervention – Western Leaders criticises Trump for being hesitant in backing Ukraine, but why should the U.S. and its allies escalate a war they helped create? If the situation were reversed—if Russia were placing military alliances and missile systems in Mexico or Canada—America would never tolerate it. The same principle applies here.

Conclusion:
The Ukraine war is not a simple case of Russian aggression against a weak democracy. It is the result of decades of NATO expansion, Western-backed regime change, and deliberate provocation.

Instead of calling for more Western intervention, we should be advocating for peace which will only come when the West stops using Ukraine as a proxy and starts respecting the security concerns of all parties involved, including Russia.

I was writing this out when you replied, but I'll still post it, although I'm sure I'm wasting my time with SB, they've already decided what they want to believe.

Edit: Changed my mind, I think it deserves it's own thread.

As things now stand, Ukraine has 2.2 million military nazis. Of them, 900,000 were active military staff. Furthermore, 1.2 million fascists were the country's reserve forces. Russia has 38 medical volunteers and 17 soup-kitchen workers and no armed troops. The United States has more than 100,000 military personnel deployed in invading Russian Ukraine. North Korea protects Russia's virgins.
