No gold in fort Knox? No auditing done?
Wow….that alone can make a country poorer.
In God gold we trusted?

Well here’s a replacement…. And… something that everyone can hold a piece of… I’ve been watching this crypto market for a couple months…
Trump will make USA crypto capital of the world… ETF machines are going to be implemented everywhere globally via Ripple (XRP) which will boom via crypto currency.
It is the new monetary way of the future no matter what we like or don’t like.
I like cash but where will that be by 2030?

USA may not have gold as security… but are advised to buy 20% into Bitcoin before another country does.

Gold disappears. Money disappears… but with cryptocurrency…. Will we know exactly where it is? Isn’t that the idea… it can be tracked? Therefore maybe no more fraud/embezzlement of disappearing funds?
Very interesting.

After having listened or watched or read about what’s happening, I’m quite impressed (yet horrified at the enormous criminal fraud to date) that the Doge team are discovering.
Hence giving that $5,000 to all tax payers households.

We need a Doge team for Victoria! Maybe start with Victoria then do all other states.

How can ALL of Victoria’s infrastructure projects (all in the City the country get NOTHING) go 10s of billions of dollars over budget EVERY SINGLE TIME…

Where in the bugger is the money going???

Apart from in the pockets of CFMEU and their Bikies

The amount of incoming money in Victoria alone from stamp duty via house sales, land tax, empty house tax, CGTax, Vic roads, tollways… and yet… the bumbling labor halfwits have plunged us into more debt than NSW and Qld combined!!!

Our roads… the pot holes can turn your radio on and open the doors at the same time!
The roadworks nearby us started last year….were meant to be finished but it’s still chaotic and traffic congested!
So I hear the state guv’ment ran out of money.
I too…. Want to know…. Where the f… has all that incoming money gone to?
Labor are incompetent and that’s been proven. I wonder what lack of auditing has been going on hey?
Not happy Jan!  Angry

Very interesting.

Currently crypto is exponentially the easiest way to facilitate embezzlement and fraud...

Crypto allows for massive amounts of value to be instantly magicked out of nowhere and be transferred immediately to anywhere in the world, to be converted via laundering to more traditional stores of value, without necessarily identifying its owners.

That’s true too! What lesser evils can we trust?
But if we play our own individual ownership correctly with homework/knowledge… little people can win…
Much like current money system … some are clever with it… some are hopeless.
I liked investing in real estate… I always felt a mistrust with shares… money only worth the paper it’s written on.
Since real estate is out of reach now for younger generations due to timing and soaring prices … they are going into shares and crypto.
I’ve ordered 2 books on cryptocurrency so I can better understand it.
Whether we like it or not… these ETF machines are going to spring up everywhere globally.
I’ve purchased coins in XRP and in HBar as a small investment for now.
Got to keep our fingers on the pulse.

Yep... the expectation of instant gratification has poisoned the West.

Magicking value out of nowhere creates the delusion of true value, in the way a mirage in the desert does.

Those who commit whatever value they have to chasing that delusion are destined to lose everything over time...

To paraphrase Klaus Schwab: they will own nothing and be destitute.

I thought he said they will own nothing and be happy.
Anyway… okay for him to have quadrillions!
How the wealthy get wealthier… a constant trickle of money from the poor to the rich.
There was a book by Des Griffin he wrote in 1980…. Descent into slavery?

Re: get rich quick schemes, there’s a quote …
“The stock market is a device to transfer money from the 'impatient' to the 'patient'.”
I listened to interviews of billionaires advice… start off small (what you can afford to lose) and educate yourself.

Slow and steady wins the race.

I see a lot of younger gen at the pokies…. Doing $5 a pop!  Shocked
I’m doing .20c to .50c a pop… other day… after having a seniors lunch at hotel… hubby asks if there are pokies here… I said yes but I don’t feel like playing…he hates the pokies but said I should have a punt.
Geez…. So i look around, and I get a feel for one machine as I saw someone  had taken out $200…. I thought this machine is paying… I put $50 note in… played $8 and then got heaps of free games and won $90.
Thanks I will take that!
Walked out with extra money in purse and it paid for our meals!

So yeah…. Many keep pumping it in thinking it will go to greater heights, I’ve seen it, we must learn to be happier with little wins.
Slow accumulation ….

Back to cryptocurrency…. I want to learn as much as I can about it… so as not to be idiotic about it.
I’ve learnt much about real estate, pokies…but now it’s crypto.

Despite all the setbacks it may have… I’m learning about it… with all the whales and rug pulls and fraud coins … I’m learning … I’ve seen one that hurt a lot of folk… Pepe Wall Street pre sales  … I read how some put in tens of thousands! There was an extravagant sales pitch and hype about it everywhere!
Pie in the sky.

I’m sticking to older well known coins I mentioned earlier.
Crypto currency is going to take over our current currency. What can we do?
Can’t beat it… so best to join it… warts ‘n all.
I’m just trying to keep an open mind about it.

Yes, Schwab did say 'happy' that's what I meant by paraphrasing him.

Yes, we in the West have ditched patience for instant gratification... we've all become drug addicts.

Douglas Murray urges West to reject 'welfarism' and take a leaf out of the Trump's DOGE book in ARC forum address

Murray said the Trump administration would be seeking to get rid of the Department of Education, as it would also like to dissolve the "rotten" USAID organisation.

"In New York State, where I spend much of my time, an average spend at a state school is now per pupil around $35 ,000 a year. For that sum, K -12 students finish with only just about half of them with basic literacy and half with basic numeracy. So nobody can tell us that money is the problem. Money is not the problem," he said.

"You could keep throwing money at this problem and you can still create more and more illiterates."

Murray then arrived at his central argument and urged the west to take the risks America had in recent weeks. The bestselling author and political commentator said the main disparity between America and Europe was the "attitude towards risk", but the similarity was that there had been a descent into complacency and a "sort of welfarism".

"We've wasted so much time in recent years," Murray said.

"I would urge in the age of reconstruction that our great task is not just to break through with innovation, but to reclaim what is ours, to say that we love it and that if people wish to join us in the veneration of this civilisation, they are very, very willing to do so. If they don't wish to join us, there are other places they can be."
