Nonsense.

In the American system, dating to the 18th century, the head of state and head of government is combined in one office, the prez.  They still have legislative and the judiciary separate from the executive. They still have different states, each with its own separations of powers.

They didn't want to replicate the Westminster system where the head of state is separate from the head of government.

The French adopted, eventually, something closer to the US system than to Westminster.

Ah yep... I think most here would know that... It's why the interviewee said Musk was effectively a 'US Prime Minister' in that he has the influence within the Whitehouse akin to that of a prime minister in a parliamentary or Westminster system.

He is more like a Productivity Commissioner or Auditor.
He is advising departments on waste and corrupt expenditure. Departments and agencies are acting on his advice.  He appoints no ministers (  secretaries of department) or heads of statutory agencies and does not sign off on any spending or non-spending.
He just knows where to look for waste, together with Trump appointed heads of departments.

Is he?

How's his relationship with Susie Wiles, Chief of Staff, going?

Do you know?

How?

( don't say, 'Rick Wilson told me").

You could try watching the clip I posted... the interviewee suggested that Musk's influence within the Whitehouse was so great., that he has eclipsed the Chief of Staff in setting the administration's agenda.

But you did say " It's why the interviewee said Musk was effectively a 'US Prime Minister' in that he has the influence within the Whitehouse"

So the interviewee was only suggesting, you have taken that suggestion and made it true.

I said he was effectively a prime minister - quoting the interviewee... You need a better command of English.

The US president is a constitutionally-enshrined executive president - i.e. both HOS and HOG... You need more knowledge of political systems if you're going to post on a political forum.

Can anyone name the powers that Musk has that equates him to a prime minister, just one power will do for now.

If you are going to claim Musk is effectively a prime minister then you must have some knowledge of what powers he has to be a prime minister or is it just BS.

Well you know how it is you have to put up with us rednecks if your going to post on a political forum.

So with all your knowledge of political systems and how they work can you explain what powers Musk has, or is that out of your expertise.

The interviewee was referring to Musk's influence being effectively that of a prime minister... He claimed that what Musk wants done gets done whether or not the Chief of Staff (read up on the role of the Chief of Staff) approves of it or not. which indicates that Trump is overruling Wiles.

How serious this overruling is will be revealed if and when Wiles resigns.

Maybe if Yankists reinstate the British monarch as head of state, this 'Canada thing' might fly!

is chemira a yank?.

Not that I know of.

Who's chemira?  The US should have won Canada in 1812. Musk's South Africa was independent in 1910.  They are great golf-courses.

this lie that trump and musk dont get along is just that

trump has a genuinely warm relationship with his kids (want to compare that to Joe).

musk is like a second son to him.

there is mutual admiration and fair enough

like trumps kids, they are all on the same page.

contrast that with the rabid hate between hilary and bernie and harris and warren and the disgusting way they backstab and fight to be dictator

trump as a dictator is a joke

the guy likes attention golf chix and being funny

hes about the best person in america to hold power.

musk likes creating successful innovative products

he wants to turn the USA swamp into someything that is successful and innovative

the majority of americans are rooting for musk and trump

a few rusted ons are not

they will easily be swept aside

they have no vioice for one thing

the media and tech companies have deserted them

they are irrelevant

as irrelevant as karmal gweg and smith

nobody is listening

who is even in charge of the democrat party  Grin Grin

marla  Grin Grin Grin

This is why people say you suffer from TDS.

Just the comment about Trump and his children... It's as if you don't know what it means to be a father despite your constant bitching and moaning about raising young men.

You weren't a present father were you?

Susie Wiles has effectively lost control in her role as Chief of Staff with the Whitehouse revolving around what Musk wants done.

If and when Trump attempts to extricate himself from Musk, he will find he will be up against a power force whose reach is almost limitless.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9h7QbwPjaw

White House Chief of Staff in a Trump administration is nothing more than a plaque on a door. Trump does as he wishes, and she will never have any sway over him.

A Chief of Staff operates at the pleasure of the president.

Musk has no formal authority over Wiles or any senior government official or function, and yet...

Yes, but chief of staff comes after the Department Of Government Efficiency Chief, Meister.

After that, it's Vice Prez, House Speaker and then White House Chief Of Staff. That's the line of succession as per the Constitution, you see.

It makes sense to have the world's richest guy in as 2IC, no? After all, who'd pay all the politicians off and fulfill the functions of the DEEP STATE if anything happened to the Prez?

The Founding Fathers thought long and hard about all this, Meister, as you'd expect. They didn't design the world's best system of government to just let it all get bought out by the billionaire elites, right?

DRAIN THE SWAMP !!!
